“Look..I HAVE TO FIRST START BY SAYING THAT THE WING CHUN LAB SPARRING EVENT WAS THE MOST EPIC EXPERIENCE IVE EVER BEEN PRIVILEGED TO HAVE..IT WAS ONE OF THE BEST DAYS OF MY LIFE!!..The rumors you hear are an understatement to what it truly is..If you are truly a lover of Wing Chun or a Warrior forged from kombat..This is the place you want to be: it is also one of the safest spaces with people who truly want to see you succeed. It’s a place free of ego but tests your resolve in the most positive way. I myself came from Nashville TN driving 10 hours to make it, sleeping in my car and running off of fumes to participate in this event..and being honest..I’D DO IT AGAIN 10 TIMES OVER!! AND ANOTHER 10 IF IT MEANT THAT I CAN MAKE THIS EVENT HAPPEN EVERY YEAR!! It’s a place of testing your might and truly understanding the application and the soul of Wing Chun. IF YOU ARE SO FORTUNATE TO ATTEND..YOU WILL KNOW THAT IT IS WORTH EVERYDIME..Cause as far as me; especially after studying wing Chun; knowing the problems in my own city with it and around the world; for me…WING CHUN LAB IS PRICELESS!!“

I looked around and tried classes at a couple of places, but ultimately chose BV because of the great community. Friendly students, and a very open, non-hierarchical or stand-offish group. Mestre Bomba is very accessible, and easy to talk to. Also very relaxed compared to some capoeira mestres out there.If you're looking for a great workout, with community and self defense, this is it.“
