“We engaged Mayflower back in 2021 for a kitchen remodel that turned out far better than we could have ever imagined. When it came time for a makeover of our master bathroom in 2023, we knew who to call!As with our kitchen, the master bathroom in our Del Ray, VA duplex is TINY and therefore has very little storage space. In fact, other than a small medicine cabinet, there was no storage at all to speak of. So this was priority number one. Other than that, we just wanted an updated shower/bath with modern fixtures, a more powerful toilet, and better lighting.After another wonderful design consultation with Nicole (she is the best!), we scheduled the work to be done when we’d be out of town for a couple of weeks. “Jen Contracting came highly recommended to us by close friends for our condo bathroom renovation we were planning. Alex and his team were extremely easy to work with and accomodating to questions, concerns and ideas. As it was our first major reno project, we looked to Alex and his team for suggestions on certain aspects of the reno which we ultimately went with, and they turned out better than we could have hoped. We unfortunately did not get his name, but the gentleman who did the tiling did an outstanding job and was extremely meticulous with his work. “David and his team are the best and are capable of some larger remodeling jobs. After we bought our house, we hired them to demolish the wall between our kitchen and living room and install an island in that space (as well as some minor things suggested by our home inspection).This was a major job as that was a load-bearing wall and ventilation passthrough and several other contractors either seemed afraid to do it or gave no confidence in their ability to do it. David explained everything well right from the beginning, got architect drawings, and submitted for permits and inspection without needing anything from us. His bid was not the lowest, but he was literally the only contractor (out of 4 that we contacted) we had confidence could do the job properly and he succeeded.
