“The water supply line from the WSSC connection at the street to our house was leaking. Based on recommendations from our neighborhood listserv, this company was the first and only company I called. I was impressed with Mr. Winegar's explanation of how he would replace the leaking pipe and asked him to do it. He had to turn the water off the night before to allow the ground to dry out some, to make the ground less muddy when they were working. He and his crew of two (plus a backhoe operator from a separate company) arrived the next day at ~7:00 AM, replaced the pipe, and turned the water back on ~4:00 PM. We think it is amazing they could do all that work in ~ 9 hours. We were without water for less than a day. Somehow, they did all the excavation without touching the walkway or the driveway, even though the pipe went under both. Mr. Winegar and his two associates, Max and Kimbel, were a pleasure to work with. This is the company we will use for our future plumbing needs.“

“Though we have since moved out of the area we used Zepp repeatedly and every time was a good experience. During Hurricane Sandy power went out Saturday night and our sump pump couldn't work, flooded our basement. Zepp came the next day (Sunday) and pumped out the basement, and installed a new sump pump. “Fred Worth, the owner, was very straightforward and explained my options to me frankly and honestly. We began with the intention of fixing my old boiler, but when we found multiple additional problems, we came to the conclusion that I should replace it and my old water heater. The boiler had been a long term headache and given me no heat all winter!!! I’ve been using multiple electric space heaters!!!

Anyway, Fred sent Elvis and his crew out and they did a great job. When I came home yesterday, the thermostat was set at 72. The whole house felt great!

Incidentally, I had asked him originally to replace all the valves on the old radiators, which no longer functioned. I also chose a high efficiency boiler unit and not only will that drop my Gas bill down significantly, I can turn the heat down a little bit in the rooms that get a bit too warm and the rooms, but I don’t use. That ought to help me save an additional few dollars each month and beat it all I get to apply for $800 rebate!
