I was unsure if it was possible to fix this, they were honest and set real expectations that it may or may not work, but were willing to help me. Dependable not only accepted the projects, but didn't ask for special release forms to absolve it of any damage. And the shawls came out beautifully. The special service isn't inexpensive, but cost wasn't relevant for family heirlooms.”

“I genuinely cannot say enough good things about Sunny and her business. From the moment I called, her welcoming energy and positivity was evident. I needed two pairs of pants hemmed and I needed a quick turnaround - I came in on Tuesday afternoon - they were ready by 8:45am on Friday - if I needed them done faster, she would’ve accommodated. Not only did she listen to exactly what I wanted, she was so beyond patient and understanding. I was nervous because I have had poor alterations done in the past, but she eased my concerns and assured me she would be able to achieve the look I was going for. She was so professional, answering all of my questions, and she steam pressed the items as well upon pick up! She really cares about all of her customers and the customer service is above and beyond what I’ve experienced in a LONG time. If you need any alterations done at ALL, run don’t walk to Sunny. Like others have mentioned, she’s a ray of light, truly living up to her name. I’m so grateful I was able to meet her and I am confident I found a seamstress for life.”

She has done everything from shorten pant hems and jacket sleeves to doing major modifications to a formal full length gown. She is very busy because she is so good at what she does, but she sticks to the timeframe that she gives you. That being said, don’t leave your alterations to the last minute!”

“I know nothing about tailoring, but I do know a master of their craft when I see one. It is instantly obvious that Al's Tailoring is a man with a lifetime of experience and old-fashioned respect and dedication to their profession.<br><br>I brought my favorite coat to him a bunch of years ago because the original pocket linings needed replacing. The work he did that first time was perfectly done using better quality materials than the original. I just brought the same coat back to him because the cuffs are fraying. He immediately had me put it on and started measuring and marking the coat for a custom fitted repair. He explained how he would repair it and told me it would be $40 and it would be done by Wednesday (today is a Saturday). I have complete and total confidence that I will be extremely pleased with his work. If you are like me and still value old-school quality and skill then this is a tailor for you. People of his level of expertise and craftmanship are a rarity.”
