“They are OK, but . .They sent, and I had to pay for, two guys to do one man’s work.I had a leaky valve in my shower. They sent two guys, they found a small part in the valve that needed replacing. I had done the prep work, like opening up the wall for access, so they were done in 30 minutes. The bill was $360 (presumably because they sent two guys).“

“Just before Halloween our furnace stopped working. Eric DeMeo came out on a Saturday and saw that our control board had shorted out and ordered a new one. When he returned on Monday with the part he started taking the furnace apart to replace the old board. As soon as he got it off he could see the crack in the heat exchanger behind it.We had two options. Replace the heat exchanger for a few thousand dollars or use the Mass Save heat loan to get a new pump. The replacement exchanger was a few thousand dollars in parts and labor, plus the control board cost, and our furnace was still 13 years old. The Mass Save option gave us a new heat pump for heating and central air and would cost us almost dollar for dollar the same as the repair after the rebate, leaving us with a brand new furnace and central air unit.Eric and his team worked around other jobs they had already committed to in order to get our furnace up and running. They were here early, here late, and made sure we had heat before it got too cold outside. I cannot express how thankful I am for his efforts in this situation.Service: Heating system installation“

Gilbert and walker came in assessed the situation, explained what they found, the pricing and every step of the way they made sure I knew what was happening. Managing 4 yr old twins while trying to manage multiple companies in our house was a challenge but Gilbert and walker wer so patient through it all and made my 50th bday a little more bearable knowing our sinks would not back up resulting in flooding downstairs.
