“I own several triple deckers in the Boston area and have had BRC Renovations do a complete roof replacement on on about two years ago. The job was completed on time and at a very reasonable price and I've had no problems since. At the same time they rebuilt the chimney from the roof deck up. They removed all the debris and kept the area clean on a daily basis. I have had them do various repairs at another similar flat roof building as well and I will have them do a complete roof replacement on that building within the year.I can't emphasize how important it is to me that they are responsive to emergency requests for fast turn-around repairs as well as top quality workmanship.“

It appears possible that the new/originally is originating from my neighboring townhome side.update September 2021: Unfortunately, I had another water leak in the exact same area that they had tried to fix. I tried contacting the owner Eric a few times by email and voicemail and he did not respond.I rely heavily on reviews myself. Based on the reviews for this provider, I chose them. My experience was entirely consistent with the others. This is an outstanding company. I would highly recommend them. I will certainly use them in the future. I used them three years ago to repair significant water damage from the leak. The total cost for this damage was approximately $13,000. They did a very good job and I was very happy with their work. A few months ago I had another leak from a faulty appliance installation. I also had some additional water damage in the corner of the basement which it was unclear where the water was coming from. They were able to diagnose and reproduce the leak. John did a fair amount of the work. I'm hoping he gets a nice raise in the future. He is an amazing worker. Everyone we worked with was great. I hope I do not have to work with them again for a water leak. If I do have any future issues I will definitely call them up. For the most recent work, the total charge was approximately $13,000. While this is a lot of money, I do think they are fairly priced and provide great quality.Services: Exterior painting“

“I’ve been meaning to write this review for a long time. For context, JW Construction completed a full gut renovation of a beautiful four story townhouse in Charlestown, transforming it into condos. We purchased one of the units but wanted to make significant changes. This was during the tail end of COVID, and we needed to add an office, which required moving the kitchen and completely reworking the floor plan.

Initially, Jon was understandably hesitant. He already had multiple offers at asking price, and agreeing to our plan would not only increase costs but also require opening the ceiling of the unit below to redo plumbing. To our surprise, Jon agreed, and even absorbed a large portion of the additional cost himself. He also helped roll our expenses into the closing so everything remained seamless for us.

As first time homebuyers, we had plenty of fears and questions, and Jon guided us through every step with patience. What quickly became clear is that Jon isn’t in this business just for profit, he’s genuinely passionate about construction and craftsmanship. He connected with our vision for a more functional space and embraced the challenge with enthusiasm.
