“This Veterinary center was very accommodating, clean, professional, well mannered and empathetic. We recently visited the vet and had to hear some tough news. They aren’t just about making a bunch of money or a profit taking advantage of their customer base. They were very understanding and extremely accommodating. The staff was professional and personable. The doctor was experienced and very knowledgeable. They even followed up after with a written summary of our appt and prepared thoroughly reviewing our dogs history before we met. I am extremely satisfied with the thoroughness and the time the doctor spent with us and didn’t feel rushed at all. We just recently moved to MA from CA and will definitely plan for all our pet care here to be at Highland Animal Hospital and provide a shining recommendation.“

“I have a Persian (Ellie) who I failed at proper grooming as a kitten, so she doesn’t love it now that she’s older. I’ve taken her to a number of groomers over the years and she’s never come back looking and feeling as good as she did from Wags N’ Whiskers. I skipped her getting a bath-unless she goes with her sister and gets done together, Ellie is exiled and bullied until her sister warms up- and her hair and coat still looked great. The cats being groomed at times when there’s no dogs made such a difference, she had a pep in her step from the moment she came out of her carrier. I have a puppy who I’ll be bringing in to get groomed, as well as my other kitty when she’s due. Highly recommend (especially for cats!) Couldn’t be happier! T“

“My dog HATES getting her nails trimmed and turns into a demon at PetSmart. However, the ladies at Dog Village Salon must radiate some aura of love because she never even quivers a lip here. They hold her and give her little kisses while someone trims and grinds her nails, and she leaves calm and happy. They are fast, kind, and charge a very reasonable price for a great nail trim.

We are moving soon but may honestly come back sometimes just for the nail trims.“

“Our dog LOVES Go Play! We did puppy and basic obedience courses there and she goes weekly for daycare. When they open the door for her to come in our dog runs in and doesn’t look back! Go Play was also super helpful and supportive when we were going through behavioral issues with our dog. They’re so fantastic!“

During a difficult time when most people take advantage, Dr Martinez is honest and kind, and only has you do what is absolutely necessary. Unlike those other “emergency clinics” that I have made the mistake of going to multiple times prior that cost 250$ just to walk in the door. I am forever grateful to Dr Martinez and the girls for taking my panic calls and listening to me ramble and cry when I thought something was seriously wrong with the little dog Ryder. Our boys race across the house when they see the dog walker’s car pull up out front and wait anxiously by the back door with tails wagging. “I love Metro Pets. They are always on time. And they return my precious standard poodle on time and beautifully groomed with a call 15 minutes in advance. Madison is a highly skilled groomer and she and Willow are a lovely match. I highly recommend Metropets. Not all groomers can handle a standard poodle cut that looks like a poodle but not too frooffy. Willow and I love Madison and Metropets.“

“Virginia took great care of my sometimes reactive Pekingese during grooming. The set up of the facility helps maintain the calmness of the dogs. It was refreshing to not hear the dogs (from daycare) barking. My dog seems to really like Virginia and he was not whining or scurrying out of the place like he usually would. “Petco Vaccination clinic, it was way better than when we went to a Vetco Clinic. A lot cheaper and the folks were really AWESOME at the Waltham store.
Vetco, different story. They messed my dog up and I'm still waiting on what you all are going to do. You say he has Lyme after a blood test, then, you give him meds and shots, i paid a lot of money. You schedule a follow up for 10 days later for what you said was his final Lyme shot but i went there for nothing because you were closed that day. You get that? You have me come back on a day your closed lol. So, i had to go back the next day, when i got there i was told i can't see the vet today. Well, before i left i seen the SO-CALLED VET LOL. Now i was told he doesn't have lyme and doesn't need the final shot. I'm really mad at this point. How do you not know what is going on? I still don't know if he has it or not because i can't afford to have him retested cause i have no money left. Ive called them and they won't talk with me and never call me back. What are you hiding? Now i know why my best friend Wesly was treated so bad and for something he didn't have. They don't care, if they did, we wouldn't have been treated like that and they would have at the least call me.
2 employees in the store part of the business heard my mouth and the commotion and after i left they came to me and confirmed how bad they are there. They told me they would never bring their pets there. Never going back nor is anyone i know ever going back after my poor pup was handled like a piece of meat for them to make money. I will never let this go and will keep telling everyone, until they make it right. I'm at the dog parks several times a day telling everyone. They won't even contact me.
I used my disability money for that you know. You don't love animals, and you robbed me, a disabled person. So sad!
