“I love The Bark Club. I use the self wash for my senior pup on a regular basis. The groomers take care of his nails for me. It has always been difficult for me to take care of his nails because he hates it so much but they do a great job!!! They also have treats, toys, and other supplies. It’s a great local shop!“

“I am so lucky I found Lucky Dog Salon and Jeff who is the Groomer. Not only does Jeff always do a great job, he befriends all the dogs that he grooms. I have two dogs, one is a little Yorkie and one is a medium Golden Doodle. Both of my dogs love to go see Jeff. If I mention his name they get all excited. But the best part is how he is so good with the dogs that he is able to groom them without any problems. He is so kind to the animals and they feel this which makes them want to come back. “Waggey Land is the absolute best. JR and the rest of the team are phenomenal, we have two pups and the pack welcomed them with open arms. One of our pups is a bit aggressive and we were nervous that he wouldn't be able to join, but thanks to their patience and knowledgeable staff he fit right in. I got adorable pictures sent to me throughout the day. My pups would always come home tired, and mornings I would tell them it's a "Waggeyland Day" and they would get soo excited and sit by the door, waiting to be picked up. I wish I could still use their service but I moved away!“

“Nothing but love for the staff at this place. I came here as a brand new first time dog owner. My girl was only 13 weeks old and I was still learning the ropes in 2022. Everyone there was not only EXTREMELY kind but eager to help me learn and share there experience with me. My dog was/ is very high strung and I relied heavily on pretty much every service they offered for the first couple of years and they were always there for me. I called them a lot in the first 6-9 months of my adoption with questions and concerns. They were there for me every step of the way even when I probably sounded like a crazy lady asking dumb questions about my dog's eating habits or whatever. My Luna always feels comfortable coming here whenever we get in the car and pull up to the building for anything she never feels anxious no matter the reason for the visit and some of the reasons have been pretty horrific, let me tell you. But I haven't had a bad experience yet that was due to any of the staff. They have been great at reassuring me and helping me to better understand my dog and what she needed to get and stay healthy. “I’m sharing this so that I can tell you about how wonderful A Pets Life South Shore is.

We started taking our almost 6 month puppy there in March after having a frustrating experience in another. Tobin is an Australian Shepherd/Lab Mix that we rescued from Scituate animal shelter. He’s also deaf.

This means that he can’t respond to verbal cues, and he also cannot take cues from other dogs when he plays too rough which is how dogs usually learn from each ñother.

He has been going to training since the day he came home to us. He is an exceptionally smart dog and really eager to learn and please.

At the previous Day Care, we were going to we found that every day we would pick him up a different staff would tell us something different about Tobin. It became really frustrating because we didn’t know what we should be working on with him and had hoped that they would be working with him a little bit too based on how they present themselves.

When I had finally had enough, I reached out to Colleen at A Pets Life. I brought Tobin in to meet her and some of her team and I can say for Tobin, it was love at first sight. He absolutely loves his days there and comes home happy and exhausted. Every time we pick him up, we can see how much they care about him and how well he is treated. He just spent the first two nights outside of our home using their boarding and he really enjoyed himself.
