Marblehead School of Raja Yoga Yoga

“Having recently moved into MHD I knew I wanted to continue my recently begun Yoga practice. I don't know much about Yoga but through trying different classes I learned I greatly preferred and benefited from more gentle/restorative/meditative classes then, how can I say, the more physically strenuous classes - forget about the 'hot' one! I can not tell you how blessed I was one Thursday afternoon this summer, in the back Garden of the Lee mansion, when I met Allen and learned of his School and some of his own philosophy and views on Yoga. I knew right away I had found the yoga school and teacher I was looking for and have not questioned that decision since. I encourage you to give one of the classes a try, I am confident you will not regret it!!“

Transform Myofascial Release, LLC Yoga

“Jessica and the Myofascial release work she does has been an integral part of my healing journey. She is intuitive, knowledgeable and thoughtful about the status of my health and how to support me. Her space is very calming and I always leave relaxed. Myofascial is great for anyone who’s done massage and acupuncture and looking for a modality that supports the connective tissue. Grateful to be able to work with Jessica.
*Also, for military families: Jessica is incredible and went through the effort of getting credentialed with Tricare so I could submit for partial reimbursement with health insurance.“

“I've been working with Peg for roughly five months and have enjoyed every session. Over the years I have worked with a number of personal trainers and by far Peg's the best. She is always prepared with my personalized workouts focusing on proper form, technique and breathing!!Peg is always engaging and encouraging which has given me a true sense of accountability. Beyond her training she offers sound insight on nutrition and overall wellness.Peg has helped me both mentally & physically regarding my health & fitness.More recently I've started a weekly session of Yoga with Peg which has been a great addition to my workouts. Not only has it asisted with my flexability but it's allowed me to be focused and mindful of the present moment, something I've always struggeled with.Peg's been great and I would highly recommend her to anyone!!“

“I have been a client of Debra's for only a few months, and, boy, do I wish I had found her years ago. She is skilled in many different techniques to align the body and prevent pain. She understands how to tune into her clients and provide what they need. Her space is welcoming and clean. I have been seeing Debra because I am having an issue with my pituitary gland and a former injury to my tailbone.
She not only heals me through cranial, tuning forks and cupping, but she explains how my body works better than my primary care doctor! Give yourself a gift and get an appointment with Debra!!“

“I met Ildiko in 2010, just after debilitating back and knee surgery- I was a mess, epidural injections max amount in minimum period of time, pain killers and general no quality of life. I can remember our first meeting like it was yesterday, because this was the day my new life began. I couldn't bend, run, jump or keep up with my young son, I was 33 and had the body of an ailing woman. After three years of continual physical therapy- I needed a change and fast. Change I did- my life began to change rather instantly. I was on pain killers and anti-inflammatory drugs and Ildi's words of wisdom were "pain is in your brain" followed by "you will not need those medications any more". I became a student, leaning, practicing her rather unconventional exercises: ankle mobility, joint mobility and eye work- the eyes feed and speak to the brain, I learned. Her years of neurological studies allow her to have vast knowledge of the body, our mechanics and how everything works together. I saw her twice a week, and ten years later, once a week. I won't go into the years of exercises, eye work, movement therapy and mobility to tell you that I am a changed woman. Ten years later I can keep up with my teenage son, run, jump, lift heavy, do hard cardio workouts and basically have an excellent quality of life. Getting to this point was a lot of hard work and dedication- yes, I have had setbacks, but Ildi always gets be back on track to living a quality pain-free life. I haven't taken pain killers or any prescribed drugs in ten years. I bring my mother and son to Ildi to help with various issues they face. We FaceTime when something hurts, we text, I follow her Instagram, I see her regularly - I am truly a new woman because of her. If you have pain, limited mobility, poor posture, health concerns, can't sleep- anything, go see Ildi. She can help anyone just like she fixed me.“

“I came by during the open house "walk through the villages". What a beautiful open clean space! I instantly felt like my stresses were melting through the floor. The staff are very informative and gentle. Crista, Dot, and Scott were there explaining the many benefits of yoga. Being a quiet person I find the small size of the class 10-12 people feels intimate and personalized to my needs. I feel like I can actually do this. I am definitely coming to try yoga. Thank you.“

“Paul is an experienced massage therapist. He was very skilled and the conversation was interesting, informative and amusing. It is a casual sports and fitness club atmosphere and Paul is a super cool guy. After my massage, he took me downstairs to the gym and showed me a roller I should get (and told me where to get it online) and showed me the exercises I should do to loosen up the main areas of my back that were super tight and causing some other back pain. Super massage!“

“When we arrived, the location lost our reservation due to a system upgrade. However, the hostess was able to accommodate our group's needs for a table. The server was awesome. He was able to recommend food and drinks for all and assist in arranging tokens for our party. We were quite disappointed that the elk burger was not on the restaurant menu any longer even though the elk burger is still listed on the location website menu. The games were great; everyone in our party were hesitant to play the games until actually getting into the fun and playing the game. There was karaoke but it seemed nearly impossible to just sign up for a song. The food was great; the drinks were great; the server was AWESOME! Great place for entertainment and dinner when in Salem.“
