Pet Boarding Training near Stow

“We just wrapped up on a four week program for our boy Rocco and couldn’t be more pleased with the entire process. Kat and Tiff are dog lovers all the way through and we could tell every day that he was getting the love and attention he needed, while also going through this rigorous program. Rocco came back light years ahead of where he was and I know he will only continue to grow using the guidance Kat and Tiff provided us.

For a quick background - What little rules we held Rocco to had evaporated before our eyes the second our daughter was born. Rocco was now the biggest stressor in our life, and we had a baby human to care for! He became incredibly defiant and his anxiety was through the roof (the second part I cannot judge him for considering there was a new human in the house). I never felt judged, and I always felt heard, while working with Kat and Tiff. They understood the assignment and completely knocked it out of the park.

Best of all, we cannot wait to make use of the boarding and day visits offered now that we have been through the training program. Rocco was clearly living his best the past four weeks, the pictures sell themselves!

I wish we had found Tiff and Kat years ago. If you are considering whether or not it’s worth it I hope this review will help guide you in the (only) right direction. Book it now!!!!!!

“Our cat was dying and because we missed the last appointment with our original vet, they would not see him. We contacted Ayer Animal Medical Center, got an appointment the next day. I was EXTREMELY pleased with the staff from the check in to the our leaving. The staff lets you grieve at our own pace. They explained the process to us. And then let us be with our cat. Our final time together with him was not rushed. They are extremely caring, and very helpful. Wonderful people!“

“Our dog Kaia a German Shepard Husky mix started to show signs of reactivity. Found life is dog a 7 week aggression program, had our first consultation with Dana and immediately signed up. Training took place at her facility, and at our apartment. Since completing training, Kaia has become more confident and so have we. “The office was very communicative and helpful in setting up the appointment ans sharing the relevant information. (Pro tip: look out for an email from hubspot, they got caught in my junk folder at first). Daren is the best. Total dog guy, patient with the training, explained everything (twice if needed) and was willing to walk me through the whole process of installation and caring for the system. “I needed to send my dog to daycare for just one day while I am traveling. This place was recommended by my mother’s friend. My dog is very nervous around new people, and I was nervous about leaving him with strangers. He did so well, and the staff was awesome. My dog had a great day, and when I went to pick him up in the afternoon, he was calm and hanging out with the other dogs. The staff member who checked me out was very attentive and knew all of the dogs by their barks. I will absolutely use this place again the next time I am passing through. As a bonus, the one day of daycare was about half the price I expected for that service.“

“Judy is a fantastic trainer, I’ve been attending classes for a year and my only regret is that I didn’t go to her sooner. I originally went to a trainer in Maynard who told me I had a difficult breed of dog and was going to struggle, totally eroded my already low confidence. Judy was so lovely, she reassured me, gave excellent advice which worked for me and my pup and has been invaluable in our training journey. We have earned our AKC novice and intermediate tricks titles and are going to try rally Classes are low pressure and fun, I highly recommend Judy.“

“Alison is an extremely knowledgeable trainer that helped us understand how our energy and actions were dictating our dog’s reactions and behavior. Walking around other dogs is no longer embarrassing and chaotic. The food she recommended we switch to has also helped all of our dogs tremendously. “I visited this location for the first time last week, and was pleasantly surprised. There was NO animal or pet food odor at all, unlike many similar stores. It all seemed nice and clean. I was there for the fish section, and the tanks were pretty clean and fish looked healthy. Their live aquarium plant selection was rather small BUT they were almost all in good condition, which is rather rare for chain store plants. Their live Betta fish were all in clean water, and also looked healthy. You can tell a lot about a location by how their Bettas look. As an ex-parakeet parent, I also looked in on theirs, and they, too, looked perky and healthy. I will definitely go again in the future, as long as the standards are being kept up.“
