Alison is an extremely knowledgeable trainer that helped us understand how our energy and actions were dictating our dog’s reactions and behavior. Walking around other dogs is no longer embarrassing and chaotic. The food she recommended we switch to has also helped all of our dogs tremendously. We are really grateful we met her and got her guidance.

We have an 8 year old rescue Vizsla who has some resource guarding issues, and has some escalating fear aggression with strangers. Add in a newly walking toddler into the mix, we needed something more than a muzzle and a million baby gates to prevent a disaster. I had been to several trainers/behaviorists in the past, but felt like we did not get the desired results from any of them. Alison has literally been the only one who truly understood the dynamics between our dog and his humans, and the fact that she makes home visits is huge in addressing the root of the behavior of our dog. Her approach to modifying his behavior was so simply spelled out for us and easily implemented. I am noticing HUGE changes in our dog and we finally feel less on edge- and I think he does too! Alison is a realist and is honest..us humans are mostly the ones needing the training so it is important to be receptive and willing to change your own behavior first. She provided the most valuable 2 hour consult (with an incredibly fair price!) and continues to check in on us. She is the perfect balance of positive reinforcement with a primarily naturalistic approach. While I know my dog will never be "Brady the Golden" (as Alison puts it,) we can enjoy who he is, as he is now that we have the right tools in place. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you!

Alyson was super responsive to our inquiry regarding a male boxer we rescued. very high energy and jumped a lot. Alyson came to our home and observed both us and the dogs and provided us with suggestions and helped us understand our dogs behavior. extremely helpful to us! she has continued to check in on us and provide ongoing advice! Great experience, highly recommend! The Jensens Chelmsford
