“I've been using Historical Slate Roofing since ~2015, when the snowpocalypse was causing ice dams on multiple houses on our street. They went up to shovel excess snow off, and then we had them back to inspect the roof, install snow guards (to stop the snow from sliding off dangerously), ice/water shield, seal/repair the gutters, and install a new rubber roof for a flat area. We've since had them out to replace the deteriorated ridge cap, and every 2-3 years when high winds knock the odd slate off. The owner, Kevin, is a nice guy, and knows what he is talking about. He's very responsive, and is happy to explain things to customers. He'll even send you photos of the work if you want (I've attached a few). The prices seem very fair for the work being done. If you need roofing work, I highly recommend them. You won't be disappointed.“

This is the work we had done: they replaced all asphalt shingles on our mansard roof and a bay window roof, and installed a rubber roof on our garage. “We had Sterling replace our 25 year old roof in March 2024. Denis was great. He is very personable and friendly. He explained all the options and answered any and all questions we had about the replacement.

His crew and crew chief Mike were outstanding. The dumpster came the morning of the job. They replaced the roof in a day. The dumpster was gone the next day. You would never know they were here. The roof came out great.

The cleanup was impeccable and the yard and driveway were spotless. We have yet to find a nail or or any remnant of the debris.
