The place was clean,very, very nice and he said he was adding some more things to the shop and there was a clothing store next-door that he also owned. I took my mother, sister, and niece to Simply Divine Beauty Lounge for my wedding on Mar 30th, 2024. We all live outside of the area, so I booked the appointment in advance for Mar 29th, 2024 without any previous knowledge of the salon. Initially, I was nervous because I didn't know what to expect. However, these lovely ladies were ready for us on time we agreed on. Not only were they professional, but they were also friendly, approachable, caring, and asked us if we were satisfied with our hairstyles. The salon is also cozy and fully lit, with calming music. We felt welcomed there. Also, their prices were affordable for the services they provided.
We all have natural hair and they did an excellent job with our hair! I was nervous initially because I have not been to a professional hair salon since I transitioned to natural hair 11 years ago. Ms. Sheila was gentle with my hair, and even asked if I was comfortable with using heat. She gave me the exact bridal crown-braid hairstyle I wanted for the big day. Ms. Bee (Karla) did a phenomenal job with my mom's Mohawk up-do and a silk press for my sister, who also wanted extensions. Ms. Janet did a silk press on my niece's hair, and took her time to obtain the best results. We were all in and out of the salon in about 3 hours!
They also went the extra mile and got us a snack platter, cupcakes, and non-alcoholic champagne to make a toast for my wedding! I could not have asked for a better experience and salon to do my hair for my special day. I highly recommend this salon, especially If you have natural hair.

Great Barbershop at downtown Springfield. The barbers are great, they're professional and knowledge regarding their profession. The hours of operations are a plus. I work from 8 till 5 sometimes. They'll make appointments out you can just walk in. Haircuts are $25. Come to this shop and give it a try. You won't regret it.

My experience today with Midnedy at Plush Spa & Wellness from the moment I walked in, the place was super neat and smelled wonderful. Midnedy was incredibly knowledgeable and made me feel very comfortable throughout the process. Not sure what products she used, but they smelled great and felt wonderful on my sensitive skin. I was extremely happy with the results. I made sure I didn't leave the spa without my next appointment.
I have been going to this salon for some years now and I am a disabled senior citizen with many likes and dislikes.
I stated the above to mean to those of you that have never dealt with anyone in my position, that we are difficult and not intentionally.
You definitely have to have the patience and heart to deal with the likes of people in my situation.

The ladies there are amazing especially Alicia who did my daughters hair. They are soo professional and definitely tell and show us how to take care of our hair. It’s not just this and that and you are done. They go into details and always have some great products and items to buy. They are about the clients and who can’t appreciate that. I cannot say enough great things about Dave! He squeezed us in at the end of his day because we had many yellow jackets inside our home. He took care of the ones inside and treated the perimeter of the house. There was an immediate improvement and the yellow jackets have not returned. I mistakenly emailed them (I thought it was municipal/county animal control and not a business) about a legal question regarding injured deer involved in vehicle collisions. They responded very quickly (they could have just ignored my email) and explained they were not in a position to answer that and provided contact info for animal control. They obviously knew I wasn't reaching out for business, yet they took time to respond anyways in a prompt and kind manner.

So, I had Lisa out for some Massage work on Ghillie yesterday, and the experience was beyond what I could of imagined or expected.
Ghillie has been dealing with Lyme disease, and as you can imagine, he’s been pretty sore, especially in his muscles and joints. She came in with this amazing holistic approach that focused not only on relieving his physical pain but also letting him choose what he wanted worked on. The session took place in the indoor, so Ghillie was free to walk away if he needed a break, which truly allowed him to relax into the experience.
Lisa helped me interpret Ghillie’s movements—she explained the subtle ways he was showing pain or discomfort. I saw what she was seeing in the past but I would misinterpret it for something other than discomfort.
He was licking, chewing, and yawning throughout his entire session and more than I’ve ever seen with any of the other body work he has had.
