We believed ourselves to be fairly seasoned in the remodeling game by the time we decided to remodel our home in Harwichport in 2016, having already endured 3 major remodels of our Dallas homes between 1989 and 2015. The tricky part was going to be doing it long distance as we had been very hands on for the previous ones in Dallas where we lived year round. This was going to become our new year round home within 5 years and we would be incorporating all the best of our latest projects. The second added challenge was that the house was originally an historic 1828 cape codder that had 2 additions added in the 1950’s and again in the 1970’s. The goal was to remove the 1950’s addition in the middle and replace with a modern kitchen, dining space and family room and seamlessly reunite it with “ the museum” and “the annex “ which included the master suite and guest suite.
Over a 2 yr.planning time, we had more than a dozen conversations with people who had endured remodels and their various contractors. We finally narrowed the search to 5 prospective candidates, including George Davis,Inc.as a late addition recommended by our local architect as she had heard good things about him. By the time we came to a final decision we had several meetings and quotes with all 5 and at the end of the day felt the best choice for our project was going to be the last one entering the race. This would be the best decision we ever made in our history of remodels and can readily say it was the most seamless, well planned execution that we had ever experienced, and it was the only remodel we ever did that came in on time and on budget..... didn’t think that was even possible. George has an incredible, professional and talented team and the communication is amazing. We never imagined that a complicated remodel such as this one could be so pain free and so perfect from 1800 miles away. I am sorry that Peter had such an unfortunate outcome with Bayside, as my experience was much different. I had a tankless water heater installed last week to replace an indirect HW heater. The overall experience was very positive....... from Shannon (who scheduled/invoiced the work), Francois (the owner who actually visited the property to assess the project & provide the quote), and Josh (the ultimate Superstar who completed the installation). Josh has 5 years experience, but his workmanship and communication is on par with some who has 20+ years of industry experience). I obtained 3 quotes for the work, and actually found it refreshing the owner was on-site to evaluate the project and provide an estimate instead of someone in sales (which is more common). The estimate was reasonable too, and lowest of the three bids. In the end, I experienced a minor issue with type of condensate pump that Bayside installed, but they were quick to replace with the correct unit. I also feel fortunate they are local to Orleans, and in all my years of doing business with Bayside, they have delivered good/valued service. Lastly, I can be extremely critical of a plumber's workmanship as I lead a F500 engineering firm that supports MEP type services for large commercial clients. Therefore, it takes a very positive outcome for me to make the effort and write a review.

We were not an existing customer, but had a significant problem where we were only getting intermittent water from our 20 year old well. Michelle was extremely responsive and worked us into their schedule within a few days. Sean came out and identified the problem quickly, explained the issue and the solution, and replaced the well pump and the associated hoses and fixtures. I felt the charges were reasonable, especially for a time sensitive request. They were an extremely professional organization and I highly recommend.
Tim and his team did an excellent job installing our solar panels. He handled the project in an extremely professional and timely manner, adhering to my accelerated schedule and his proposed cost. He was extremely accommodating in minimizing the outside footprint of the electrical conduit and panels associated with the solar panels, so the exterior of the house still looks pristine. He also took care of all permits and documentation required of the town and the utility, which was not routine due to complications from a previous construction project we had (it was an addition to the house). Finally, he provided a new roof for the panels and areas not done by the pre-mentioned construction. He was able to match his installed roof exactly to that done with the previous construction, and his professional roofing job was also done within schedule and budget. His team’s excellent capabilities in both installing roofs and solar panels gave me the great convenience of being a one-stop shop.
We worked with Architectural Design Inc to design and renovate our one hundred year old home on Cape Cod. It was a major undertaking but Peter Haig our Architect and David Bushnell our Builder were up to the task. They are so professional and knowledgeable as well as the nicest people you will ever work with. The level of craftsmanship and quality of the build is so impressive. We are so pleased with how the entire project turned out. We are so happy that we are actually beginning another project with them. Highly recommend Architectural Design Inc.
I had a tedious job that required out of the box thinking, and expertise about transforming a fluorescent fixture with a transformer to a LED fixture that kept the style. Jake and Alex went right to it. They were able to keep the wood lattice facade while incorporating a brighter and cooler LED core. It looks like a bright day and a sky light, and even my electrical bills will be "lighter". I was very happy with their service and the results. Osprey Electric is "lit". (I highly recommend this Company for your large and small electrical needs.)
I don't often write reviews but in this case I felt it was a must! While on vacation in Orleans I was struggling with a serious cluster of headaches due to muscle tension. I called Kimlyn and described my situation to her. She said she could take me at the end of the day. She took the time to listen ask questions and listen to my answers. She then proceeded to work on my body. I have had a lot of massage work done in my 54 years and it quickly became very obvious to me that Kimlyn had a vast knowledge of anatomy and physiology. She took her time, worked on my fascia and muscles and saved me from missing more of my vacation. I HIGHLY recommend Kimlyn. If I lived closer I would make her my regular massage therapist.

I would like to give a shout out to the staff at the salon. I spend my summers on the cape and do nothing with my hair. Sadly I had to come home for a funeral. Great experience!!! For years i was driving back to Boston to get my hair colored at a very high end salon. Then i just kind on stopped. My appointment was with Allie and I gave her quite the challenge. I couldn't be more thrilled with the outcome. She is extremely talented the color is a beautiful cool blond and it’s so healthy but still long. I hope to go to her indefinitely! Also entire staff were very pleasant.

We bought an exiting older town home in a waterfront community in Brewster MA.The entire team at Mike Smith Bulder and Remodeling did an absolutely faboulus job of completely and extensively renovating the town home - from planning to delivery. The cost was reasonable and the quality was superb. John Martin Inc. is a fantastic company for several reasons. I had a Septic pumped out by Gary. I also had a Tight Tank installed by John Martin Jr. at my property and the operation went smooth with zero hassle. Firstly, Gary was amazing. I met him first to pump the previous septic. Gary went out of his way to help me maintain the old system until I was able to upgrade. Secondly, John Martin Jr led the operation to install the new system. He was organized, punctual, and completed the install smoothly with zero issues.
Lastly, their office secretaries Laura and Sue are kind and knowledgeable of the work done at the company. They are always willing to answer any questions and will get back to you within reasonable timeframes. I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend this company for both septic drainage and new system installs.

Jake and his team have been helping me with my yard for many many years - and even more so since my husband, who loved working outside, died 4 years ago. Jake answers all my questions promptly with cost-saving advice - and in winter, if I have to go out, I just let him know when - and the guys have never failed to get here in time.

They are always up on latest advances and don’t push anything for insurance, just great preventative care that is forward thinking.I’ve moved away and I still drive over an hour now to come to this office.
