In terms of pricing, it is reasonable, I appreciate the treatment and prices so much so to drive out of my way +35 without traffic.
Highly recommend!“

66 West St, Medway“Medway animal hospital is the ritz of vets. They are very busy and rightfully so. They care so much for their furry patients and their parents/owners. Everyone is so sweet and you know your pets are in the best care. The doctors don’t rush or push you and really care about you and your fur baby. A big shoutout to Dr. Mansfield. She is absolutely phenomenal. She has a huge heart and a true empath. When I unexpectedly lost my sweet cat Max after a week at tufts he unfortunately passed. I had his records sent over and Dr. Mansfield reviewed them and called me in the evening explaining to me her thoughts of all the results and if I had made the right decision to let him go. It was like talking to a friend- there was no rushing or judgment just pure love and understanding. She really helped me rid the guilt and understand what happened to my boy. I feel so lucky to have such a wonderful supportive team to help me with my sweet boy’s health. I feel blessed knowing I have the best care for my loves. Thank you!!!“

334 Chestnut St, Needham“I found this place because I had been going to the same Brookline vet group for 17 years and it has steadily been going downhill but I was loyal and don’t like change. When my dog became really sick - I had to find a place that was organized, calm & competent to try and save my dogs life. Ultimately, lily passed away but the wonderful care she received & the kindness that was shown to me was like night and day compared to my previous vet. I can’t believe I waited so long to switch to a different vet / practice. Thank you chestnut hill for doing everything you could for Lilly & I. The receptionist/administrator, vet techs & veterinarians were so nice to us during a very sad and stressful time.“

944 Main St A, Walpole“Absolutely love Dr. McMillan and have been going to her since the 80s with my birds, greyhounds, cats and chihuahuas❣️ I love her homeopathic treatment for my furbabies. She is the reason I learned Reiki and got into holistic treatments for my pets and myself. She has seen me through thick and thin over the years. My greyhound Silver was one of the first clients with Sterling Impressions.
I am in the process of moving and will miss her and her staff dearly.“

300 Eliot St, Ashland“The Family Pet Hospital is fantastic. Our dog has been going to FPH for her vet care, grooming, day-care, and boarding since she came home nearly 3 years ago. Every single member of the team at FPH is kind, competent, and caring. Top 3 reasons to go to FPH for your pet:
1. Staff - the Veterinarians, the Vet-techs, front-desk staff, day-care staff, groomers - everyone truly cares about the dogs and cats that walk in through the door. I can see that by how much our dog clearly has a bond with all of them, and how much she wants to go in the door whenever we're there. This is remarkable for a place where the dogs get all their shots with scary needles and get groomed.
2. Competence: everyone knows their job, wants to do it well, and show up to work everyday with skill and engagement. I've never had a single interaction with FPH where I thought they didn't care or they didn't know what they're doing.
3. At a time where the costs of pet-care is up across the board, FPH's prices are fair. They seem to charge what they need to in order to run a well-managed organization that takes care of its staff.“

525 South St, Walpole“On April 6, 2023 our beloved Boxer Thor collapsed and stopped breathing. After a few moments, we were able to get him back and rushed him to Tufts where we would eventually learn he had heart disease and something called Addisons. It was a traumatic experience but the care he received saved his life and put us on a path that we believe gave us an extra 19 months with our best guy. He would have to returned monthly, sometimes more during the next 19 months and during this time, we had the honor of working with Dr. Sonya Karchemskiy for his Addisons and Dr. Hannah Melhorn for his cardio, both of whom we believe are two of the best medical professionals we have ever had the chance to be around in our lives. Dr. Sonya and her team we saw for Thor's monthly shots and they always took good care of him and we appreciate her so much. She always made us feel like we were in good hands and on some of the harder days when Thor was struggling, really spent the extra time as a person to comfort us and help us get through the mental side of having a sick dog. Dr. Melhorn will always have a special place in our hearts. Much like Dr. Sonya's team, complete professionalism to the 10th degree, always had our backs, was always honest and took the time to make sure we fully understood what was going on. Obviously as a heart doctor, we are dealing with some really scary stuff, and Thor's April collapse would not be his last and it was never less scary than the time before. Dr. Melhorn was always there. She made sure we were always taken care of. It's not just that she checked in on us when Thor was staying in the ER on many occasions, she would sometimes even call us from her home. The amount of love and compassion she showed us and especially Thor was next level and we will NEVER forget it. I would not want anyone else if we ever needed to see a vet again. On one of Thor's last ER visits, the ER doctor that was checking in with us said something to us and called her Hannah and I said who is that and she said oh, Dr. Melhorn. I believe Dr. Sonya introduces herself that way because her last name is a little tougher than Melhorn, but this was the first time I had actually realized Dr. Melhorn's name was Hannah and I made a joke with her about it and it was kind of our thing. I bring this up because I believe in professionalism and it was an honor to call her Dr. Melhorn and if she wanted us to it would have been an honor to learn how to say Dr. Karchemskiy every time. I feel like I met Hannah on Thor's last night, though. Thor passed away around midnight on a Saturday night and Dr. Melhorn was not there because, well, it was a midnight on a Saturday night. If I am being honest, we already accepted it was a distinct possibility we wouldn't actually see her again. That's when Hannah showed up. At Midnight. On a Saturday night. She was there for Thor, and even more, us, until his last breath. As a person. With love and compassion for Thor. It meant everything to us. It made one of the hardest nights of our life just a little easier and my wife and I will never forget it and forever be thankful of how special that made us feel. Is Tufts perfect all the time? Of course not. But I believe they try to be and that they really do care. I've had a number of vets and they've always been solid, but few have ever made me feel as comfortable and appreciated the way Dr. Melhorn and Dr. Karchemskiy did and we will be forever thankful. I believe they gave us nearly two more years with our beloved Thor and having seen a little bit behind the curtains having to have to been there too often, I know the money we had to spend here was well worth it. It wasn't cheap, but I know it was fair for the care, love and compassion he received, and the memories we got to make with Thor these last 20ish months have been worth every penny. So thank you to Dr. Melhorn and Dr. Karchemskiy and their teams, but most importantly, thank you to Hannah and Sonya. For being real. For taking care of us. While I am not looking f“
