I actually thought he was mat free! But Joann showed me just where all the tiny knots were … very close to his skin, way underneath the smooth hair on the top - I was missing them! That first time he needed a shorter shave to get all the mats out effectively & comfortably for the dog. Then, as I learned how to comb him properly and become used to the process of regular grooming visits he has the look I love!“
