“We hired A&A Services Home Improvement to replace 30 windows, including 2 sliders and 2 casement windows we replaced with double hung windows. From our first interaction with owner Chris Zorzy, our appointment with Sean, through the installation and follow up for a couple minor fixes they were a pleasure to work with.The biggest plus for us was no high-pressure sales or upselling. Sean also checked a dormer roof my husband thought needed to be replaced. He said the roof was fine and so was an exterior door my husband thought should be replaced. He also suggested replacing our Velux skylights with fixed skylights since we never open them. I’m not sure other companies would have been as honest. And their warranty is one of the best. Ten years on the installation and lifetime on the windows, and based on their reviews they stand by their warranty.Scott and his team of 7 were long-time employees (20+ years) and 2 men who installed windows for another major window replacement company. They were professional, respected our property and easy to communicate with. The job was done in 2 ½ days during the coldest week of the year. Despite the cold they did their best to minimize the timing the windows were open to the elements and hung a drop cloth when they were replacing the sliders with windows. When they were done the house was cleaner than when they started.Sean checked in during the installation and afterwards to review the work. During the follow up visit we mentioned a couple minor things we wanted fixed, there was no pushback at all, and someone was out the next week.Finally, we’ve had numerous home improvement projects done over the past 40 years and I think it’s the first time we’ve ever received a thank you note. I’m sure there will be more home improvement projects in our future and when the time comes, we won’t hesitate to call A&A Services Home Improvement again.“

“Solar panel installation1. The sales phase gave us a design and we discussed the options and pros and cons. The sales rep even went out of his way to meet with the fire department in our town to assure that the installation would be approved. As a local company, they knew about the process and preferences of our location.2. Working with Cazeault - the install does not happen the week you sign the contract. Cazeault works with the town and the utility. But once the approvals came in, Cazeault scheduled the installation which took literally less than a day. Minor snags that came up were dealt with quickly and we are very happy with the Cazeault team and the result. I also want to note that the proposal projected saving and system output were, if anything, a bit conservative. I especially appreciated the attention and communication with Charlie - who led the implementation and Joy who handled everything at the office. They always had the time to explain things and get prompt answers to my questions. A special call out to Jon who was our first contact and laid out are system. It took a year or so for us to get our ducks in a row and the whole team was very helpful.3. At some point during the sales cycle, I got an email from our financial advisor recommending that we proceed with the installation from a financial point of view. This was unsolicited and a welcome opinion.4. Cazeault completed the installation in mid-April and the utility switched us on a week or so later. We have not paid a penny in electric since and have a 600 credit with electric company ( note: this was for Massachusetts and states have different rules and refs. The irs has 30% tax credit which you can use for multiple years until it is all applied to income. Ie multiple tax years. My CPA mapped out a plan that lets us convert Ira holdings in a way that keeps the tax rate level. Check with your tax person.) Massachusetts has a 1000 tax credit.5. Cost and tax credits. We worked with 3 vendors and chose Cazeault because they are a local company recommended highly by my electrician. Pricing is hard to directly compare because designs differed, but Cazeault was a little higher but proposed a larger array. I checked with two customers who were very happy with their systems.6. The Enphase microinverter monitoring site/app lets us track production and consumption. Just having a realtime graphic that shows production and consumption is amazing. Seeing what you are consuming naturally leads you to conserving. (“Holy cow, that dryer uses a ton of power. Let’s not run half loads.” Or “shut off the mini splits when we don’t really need them”). Result is (in January) we have a $600 credit with our utility and are projecting that we will pay nothing for electric when we reach the 1 year mark. Granted, we still paid for the system, but based on their projection, we will be at break even before the 10th year. Prior years we paid about 3000 a year for electricity.We are very glad we chose Cazeault Home and Solar. We like that they are a local company and they have been great (and patient) every step of the way.“

“Barrowclough came highly recommended, especially Paul Newman. I had seen his work at a couple homes. It was perfect. When it was time for us to do a major renovation, we invited them to give us a quote with other contractors. We ultimately chose them, although they were not the lowest quote. We chose to leave our home during construction to give them freedom to do their thing. Not only did Paul work quickly and efficiently, but during the job, he called frequently to keep me updated, and he came up with ideas to make the space more usable and modern. Rather than keep 2 old fashioned pantries, he had an idea to pull off the doors and order cabinet frames and doors and extend the kitchen into the hallway. He pulled out the insides and reengineered them to our custom specs. The result was that for minimal cost (hundreds of dollars) we got much more functionality and efficiency. We ended up adding to the kitchen and dining room job. What did we add? We removed popcorn ceiling, painted hallways and stairwell, painted master bath and bedroom, redid two upstairs bathrooms and more. We came home to a new house in April 2021 just as covid is (hopefully) winding down. What a gift Paul is. I'm happy to show the work that Paul and his crew did. He employs the best subcontractors and partners with them to ensure they are working together well. You can't go wrong with Paul and Barrowclough. Paul is a master carpenter. I would give it 5 stars, if I knew where to post that!“

“AC Castle and the owner, Brian replaced my roof a few years ago and recently, I had a leak due to an old chimney issue. They came out to fix the issue and after all the rain this past week, it was fixed perfectly. No more leaks.I highly recommend AC. Pricing is fair but more importantly, they stand behind their work no matter how long it has been since they did their original work. “Update: Nov. 28, 2023.........The windows arrived on a horrible weather day and the two men who brought them gave me the choice of whatever day I wanted them to return and left the windows in my garage. They came on the chosen day at 8:30 a.m. and never once stopped working until the job was complete and ever speck of trash, etc. was picked up and disposed of. They were great. Two of the hardest working men I have ever seen. I love my new windows, they are so tight we can already notice the difference. Coastal windows & exteriors have been a pleasure to do business with.Ordered 8 replacement windows and had the pleasure of meeting DeAndreae and Roger. My husband and I were very pleased by their knowledge and professionalism and quick response to our needs. We were not expecting to get these installed until possibly December but today got a confirmation that the windows will be in in the next two weeks.
