Let me shout out Mafei hair salon in Allston. I am literally getting married in less than 5 hours and my scheduled hair appointment at a different salon was cancelled because she’s got a cold and doesn’t know if it’s COVID or not. I came into Mafei as a walk-in and they squeezed me in for a trim and layers. I am so VERY happy with my haircut AND Penha added some things to make it easier for me to style when I get home. Very affordable for the quality of work (I tipped her 33% and it was still under $75).If you need a hair appointment for anything and you’re in the Boston/ Brighton/ Allston area, I suggest you check them out. I took my daughter for haircut and coloring they did a good job,the mother is 40 years cutting and coloring and son 20 years cutting and coloring experience I definitely recommend the place. My daughter is very happy ?
