“BSM was recommended for PT after my knee meniscus repair. I told them I wanted to be ready to train asap for my climb in the Cascades later in the summer. Emily and Kyra were on board right away. Their commitment and professional dedication to my recovery was awesome. They pushed me to push myself with all of their focus, humor and kindness. The entire BSM staff are wonderful and would recommend them for any of your PT needs.“

“Rachel has been a fantastic for my acl and meniscus repair rehab. I’ve been working with her for the past 9 months and she’s helped me so much in feeling more comfortable and confident in my strength and mobility. As an athlete my entire life, it was very disheartening to not be able to do even just the basics post surgery, and Rachel got me back to running, mobility, and jump drills. She is very knowledgeable in the space and was especially a great help with a couple setbacks/complications I had early on in my rehab process. Rachel was always willing to move at my pace while also challenging me each session. I would highly recommend Bay State. Everyone, from the receptionist to the other trainers, was always very kind and welcoming, and it was a very encouraging space. Thanks to everyone for helping my rehab journey.“

“I can’t say recommend The Method enough. I worked with Claire for prenatal support beginning in my third trimester until about 5 months postpartum. Each visit is completely customized to your needs and Claire helped me with everything from hip pain to pelvic floor therapy to wrist strengthening (a must for carrying twins around!). I was able to get back to safely exercising with modifications that Claire provided and she was always available via email/the app to answer questions. It was amazing to find a PT clinic that has so much expertise in women’s health and postpartum recovery - they were able to anticipate where I needed support before I even knew what to ask.“

PhysioX Physical Therapy

“As a coach and trainer with over 25 years of experience, I’m always looking to expand my knowledge—especially when it comes to intentional, optimal movement that I can pass on to my clients. The workshop with the PhyziX team was invaluable.

We all walked away with a deeper understanding of how the body compensates, why certain movement patterns develop, and—most importantly—how to correct them. The PhyziX team guided us through it all with incredible clarity, hands-on technique correction, and thoughtful answers to every question.

This experience wasn’t just educational—it was empowering. Education + application are key pillars of living FIERCELy, and PhyziX delivered both. I’m truly a better coach (and weight lifter!) because of it.

Whether you’re a trainer, coach, or team looking to elevate your movement knowledge and pain-relief strategies, I highly recommend connecting with PhyziX. It’s always worth it. ?

“I went in to see Dr. Morley with pain down my left leg that woke me up at night and would not allow me to get comfortable. I even had gone to an ER, where the doc told me it likely was just restless leg syndrome and take some Tylenol. Sure. That didn’t work. She probed and decided that some of the soft tissues were rather severely inflamed, then massaged, stretched, used some sort of electro-stimulator gizmo and gently manipulated. She then showed me hip stretches and an easy core strengthening exercise that even could be done in bed. All that gave some relief, stretching and ibuprofen that night helped reduce the pain more, and after 2 more days, the pain was gone and I could move more freely and without pain. Periodic “tune-ups” with her since then have kept the hip flexible and the pain away.“

“It gives me great pleasure to post this review. Needham Physical Therapy (NPT) has been a great resource for me for more than a year. They are an excellent place for physical therapy providing the needed exercises in a very friendly environment. You become the center of attention as soon as you walk in. You are welcomed by name by Elaine, always with a smile, and someone comes over right away with a heat pad or icy wrap depending on what you need.
I started using NPT in March 2023 to treat pain from a torn rotator cuff in my right shoulder. Ryan Hicks started working with me as the physical therapist. He has done an amazing job of helping me to recover. My choice last year was to go for shoulder surgery or try to treat my pain through exercises to strengthen my shoulder. Ryan was of major help in my decision to avoid surgery. I am now able to do most daily tasks with my right shoulder without having gone for surgery. Although I still have some pain in my shoulder from time to time, I am convinced that, in my case, avoiding surgery was the right thing.
After recovery from shoulder pain, I went to NPT to treat pain in my knees. Again I started working with Ryan Hicks. He was of great help, before and after the left knee replacement surgery. While I still have some pain in my knees, I am now able to do outdoor walks of about two miles.
In addition to Ryan Hicks, I received physical therapy from Andrea Kelly and many therapy assistants including Ian and Emma. They have a wonderful team and a very friendly and uplifting environment. Michael Kane, the owner of NPT, has done an amazing job of building a great team. He finds the right people and given them an environment to grow and be responsive to what the patients need. There was always someone around to help whenever I needed something.
I highly recommend NPT. I will certainly go back to NPT whenever I need some physical therapy.“

She got my knee to bend much more and the pain to stop. Additionally she is very nice and knowledgeable about many aspects of health and fitness. I highly recommend Jo and am so grateful to have more use of my knee again!“

From my consultation and the very first appointment, it was clear that Jordan genuinely cares about my well-being and recovery, both as it related to my acute injury and my general wellness. “I can't recommend Dr. Glidden enough. I have a back injury, and had no form of pain relief until I started seeing her. She does various treatments that not only relieve my pain, but are also correcting my spine. In the short amount of time I've been seeing her, I've been able to walk better, and have noticed less pain throughout my day. She's also helped me understand my injury more, and I just feel like it's a blessing that I ended up going here. If you are in pain you should come here. You will thank yourself later!“

Holistic Physical Therapy & Pilates Physical Therapy

“I have had chronic lower backpain for 4 years and I came to Olga after 3 mildly successful attempts at physical therapy. I do not have a herniated disk or major back injury, however, my backpain has been extremely debilitating these last few years. Anyone with chronic pain can empathize the psychological torture that it can exert on a person. I have heard from others that if performed cautiously, Pilates can be a gentle and sustainable method to improve chronic back pain and was hoping to dip my toes into this form of exercise. Starting off with a more physical therapy mindset and hopefully moving on to group classes to continue my recovery.

When I came to Olga, my back hurt 24 hours a day to varying degrees but maybe a 7 on the pain scale. It was hard to tie my shoes. I elected for the 6 session PT package and went once a week for 6 weeks. This was my best experience with PT. It is a one-on-one session with Olga who really took the time to monitor my progress and performed constant analysis of muscle activation, posture and range of motion.

The sessions with Olga exclusively one-on-one with her and were often posture muscle activation and healthy movement based. It included some exercises that you can do at home with only a floor and a wall, but a lot was done on the pilates reformer, spring bands and chair. This met my goal of using this as a gentle introduction to pilates to see if this form of exercise was right for me. We also finished each session with either laser therapy or shockwave therapy at no additional charge.

At previous PTs, you speak with the PT on the first day and they make a regiment for you and largely pass you off to PTs-in-training who walk you through the exercises in the following sessions. It can feel very rushed and impersonal. Almost like they could have just sent you an email for your exercises for the week and then charge you a great sum of money.

This was a very personalized and patient focused experience without it being a crowded room of patients being juggled between employees in a profit focused larger PT company. It was more expensive than my previous PT experiences but I feel was a much greater value. After 4 years of back pain I was happy to pay a little more for an improved chance at recovery.

I can happily say that my backpain has made great progress in only 6 weeks. I feel some improved strength and changes in how my core, glutes and hips activate in my daily life. Most days I get significant chunks of the day where I am completely pain free. I will give myself credit that I was very good at completing the "homework" that Olga gave me each week. Just showing up to the classes with Olga is only a small part of the recovery process, you have to take the exercises you learn home and perform them on your own but most importantly, take the healthy movement patterns and muscle activation that these exercises teach you to your day-to-day life.

I still have backpain. If I sit down too long it hurts. If I do a lot of lifting/bending it hurts. Even after I do my PT exercises it sometimes hurts. It took a long time to get sick and it will take a long time to get better. I am still extremely happy with the progress that I have made in these 6 weeks.

After discussion with Olga, we both think I am ready to try the classes at Holistic PT and Pilates with Evellin. I feel doing it at Holistic PT and Pilates is a wise decision as Evellin understands that many of her clients come from a PT focused perspective and may not be ready for high intensity Pilates workout.

I'm excited to start these classes with Evellin and and optimistic and hopeful that my backpain is finally on the path to a full recovery.

-Robby“
