“I gave this facility 5 stars the first time I boarded here. Last week I boarded my dog again and after that experience I wish I could go back and give even more stars. The staff is absolutely so fantastic and attentive to all the dogs in their care! My pup had an emergency situation while I was out of town, and because the staff was so observant and caring they got my dog the emergency care he needed. They kept in contact with me through it all, and they even transported my dog to and from the vet hospital. They took such good care of my boy when I was unable to be with him. This location is also available to contact through text messaging (which is new to me when interacting with a business or facility) but proved to be beneficial due to the easy accessibility and timely replies. River Road Veterinary Hospital also has payment plans that benefit their customers with perks.

“We have 6 dogs that Lake cares for and we wouldn't dream of sending them anywhere else. We got married in May 2014 and each of us had 3 rescues that were now all part of one big family. They help us on so many levels and we are grateful for the entire staff. In 2013 I lost my dog Saban to old age. We had him for 12 years and he was 15 yrs old. Lake animal help me through the grief process and checked up on me for weeks after we had to put him down. They wrapped him up in his own blankets and placed him in a box my son built so we could bring him to our farm in Mississippi and bury him. They are the most compassionate Animal Hospital I've ever been to.These ladies are like family and we Love them all. Kenny & Valerie Peffer.. Update we're down to 3 but lake handled the end of life for each of our fur babies and helped us get through it. Still the best“

“Fabulous groomer! Cannot say enough good things, we were so nervous to drop off our rescue doodle who is a sweetheart but can be nervous in a new situation. Melissa and everyone at Scissors Me Whiskers put him immediately at ease, they are so clearly animal lovers and take pride in their work. When I picked our dog off not only did he look and smell amazing, you could tell he felt great. We will definitely be back, and are so happy to have found this place!!
