“I don't ever spend the time to leave Google reviews, but in this case, I have to. I have three very spoiled German Shepard mixes who haven't been taught good manners or socialized very well, which is entirely my own fault. I began bringing them to Mandeville Canine Academy just about three weeks ago to get them used to the place since they'd be boarding there for a week while I was at a work conference.

I saw a fast change in them through their School Report pictures, becoming so much happier and more comfortable around men, other dogs, and new things. When I picked them up on Friday after their week-long stay, I was shocked to see their behavior had improved by multitudes - I don't even know what they did, but it seems like kind of a miracle!

This weekend, they got out of the car and didn't run down the street like they usually do; they didn't try to steal food from my daughter while she ate; they didn't jump on the counters; they had improved recall; and they went to my in-laws and instead of being fearful of their dogs, they were happy to play and make new friends! It is pretty amazing, and I can't thank ya'll enough!“

“We switched to Dr. Ledet's office after we had a few not so great experiences with our previous vet of 6 years. Dr. Ledet is SO thorough & knowledgeable. She not only tells you what your pet may need, but goes in depth as to why, & I think that is very important in a healthcare provider of any kind. She explains every little thing no matter how long it takes and answers all of my questions! We bring both of our girls here (golden retriever & black lab), and our lab just got her teeth cleaned & had x-rays while she was under anesthesia which I LOVE that they offer x-rays not only of their teeth, but a thoracic x-ray to check for abnormalities! We are all about taking preventative measures to keep our girls happy & healthy! And SHE called me personally during Mei's teeth cleaning & after to tell me how it was going/how it went/review her findings/etc. Her office may be touch more expensive than our last, but it is 100% true when they say "you get what you pay for!" She & her staff are WORTH IT!“

“Dr. Alissa and her staff are very pleasant. Dr. Alissa is extremely knowledgeable and thorough in her diagnostic evaluations. The atmosphere is more pleasant and welcoming than most veterinary hospitals. She is definitely worth traveling from the southshore to the northshore. I highly recommend this veterinary hosptial.“

“I have used Dr Hamer for several years. She took great care of my 3 elder dogs. Even found a large tumor in one of my dogs that another vet missed 2 weeks prior. It was a vet I was buying eastern medicine from.

Fast forward I have been without any dogs for 2 years. Two months ago I got a puppy who is right now about five months old. This past weekend, my puppy ingested something potentially very dangerous. It was this past Saturday, around 5:30-6:30 pm. I reached out to Dr Hamer and she responded quickly and told me exactly what to do. I was a couple hours away from Mandeville. As usual, I was very impressed with their service. Side note. A few years ago, when one of my elder dogs could not get around very well due to aging and cancer, Dr Hamer came to my house. The staff is awesome as well.“

“Dr. Paige is a rockstar.. if you want care and compassion, not just for your pet, but as a pet owner as well, this is the vet you're looking for. Dr. Paige gets to know you and your pet on a personal level (especially when your pet is a money pit that has alllllll the allergies, health issues, and problems ). The staff is great, friendly, and so incredibly accommodating. They have everything you need as a vet, and I could not be happier as a client here“
