“Had to replace the roof after hail/wind damage, and dealing with insurance companies is an activity I like not at all. After engaging Jim Merrick to inspect the roof, he took impeccable notes and detailed photographs. This became incredibly important, since the insurance company sent out an inspector who essentially phoned-in the entire inspection with minimal effort and completely inaccurate results. Jim was able to counter this shoddy inspection with his own proof, and in the end, the insurance company authorized the full replacement. The communication was seamless, and I always received a timely response from Jim during the process. I spoke to the insurance company a total of one time, and after that, Merrick's business manager Greg took the ball and ran it all the way to the end zone. The roof work was done in half-a-day shortly thereafter and I could not be happier with the clean, neat edges of my roof, to say nothing of the peace-of-mind I now have with the approaching winter. End-to-end, this is a company and a process I won't hesitate to recommend, and have already done so. Jim and Greg clearly have a ton of experience dealing with the insurance side of things as well, and I cannot overstate the value of that to anyone needing to repair or replace a damaged roof.”

“Overall good experience with NGM. They replaced several gutter downspouts, replaced some exterior wood trim that had rotted due to the leaky downspouts, cleaned our gutters, and replaced the lower part of a foot frame that also had some rot issues.<br><br>They provided a prompt estimate free of charge (as opposed to other companies that charge around $70-80 for someone to come out). They were prompt and professional in their email communication. I did try to call several times throughout the process for various reasons and usually had to leave a voicemail in order to get a call back and speak to someone. Not necessarily a bad thing, probably just means they are busy. Sent along a comprehensive contract for the work to be done and their rate was lower than the other two quotes I got from other companies.<br><br>The NGM associate was prompt and arrived within the stated time frame. The work truck he arrived in was unbranded, so it seemed like he may have been a hired subcontractor as opposed to an employee; either way, the work was done quickly and thoroughly and we are happy with the results. We will definitely consider NGM again in the future for additional home projects.”
