The project was quite extensive as the original home dates to 1930 with multiple add-ons in the years after, when we purchased the home there was lots of deferred maintenance that needed to be addressed, having previously worked with Nathan we had a quote before even closing on the property.

This was a full exterior remodel including demolition, a new roof, new sheathing for both roof and siding, new framing, new windows, new decking, new siding, new vented soffits, new fascia, new entry doors, a new custom size garage door, added overhangs, gutters and downspouts, new insulation, and masonry work.

The reason I’m giving 4 stars is because they said it would be done the next week after deposit was paid, but then 3 weeks went by and their communication as to why the unexpected delays was not forthcoming or proactive. Had to reach out for updates several times. At one point we were actually concerned they just ran away with our deposit…not a good feeling. Finally the fourth week we ask it to be done or return deposit and they came through. My wife and I were first-time homebuyers back in 1997, purchasing a home built in 1969. That makes our house 56 years old today, and it’s seen plenty of wear and tear as we raised three children there—from preschool through elementary, junior high, and now all the way to being proud college graduates (two from Ball State and one from Purdue).

From the beginning, our original 1969 wood-trim windows were difficult to maintain. The triple-track storm windows and screens were not only tough to clean but nearly impossible to replace.
