I overheard him briefly talking to another patient about looking into up-and-coming treatments for what I could only assumed to be a complicated diagnoses since personal information was not discussed. He was not only trying to find out about the newest treatments available, but also looking into figuring out how to help her get the cost covered. It’s rare to find a provider who truly cares enough to spend spare time looking into additional treatments to give better quality of life and to provide hope. The whole experience was honestly heartwarming to hear.“

“I would like to first start off by saying that Dr. Hurt and Jamal in Optical are AMAZING! I felt really taken care of and both answered any question I had. Even talking with the scheduler on the phone was a pleasant experience! She was super nice and made sure my insurance was up to date.BUT, this was my first time at KY Eye Care and sadly this experience was sullied by the unnamed tech who took my prescription, got my info, and dilated me. She didn’t bother to introduce herself or else I would name drop, but she has blonde hair, glasses, and the WORST attitude I have ever come across. I have never been treated like less than a human being. She was rude and not personable at all. Maybe she was having a bad day (she was cussing when the computer was acting up), but still…like customer service is part of the gig, girl. I find this to be a big deal because she spends just as much time with the patient as the OD, and she did not represent KEC in a positive light. Thanks!“

“I had a very positive experience. I sent my frames in to have lenses fitted to my frames. They notified me that they wouldn’t be able to guarantee the fit of the lens and they could possibly fall out. I apologized for wasting their time and ask for them to please send my frames back.

I was pleasantly surprised when I received my frames back with the lenses in them and they are still processing a full refund.
