“Dr. Braten has been an amazing eye doctor to not only me, but to my grandmother who is 98 years old, she had to have Cataract surgery, and Dr. Broughton guided her to the right surgeon, Dr. Piracha, who took great care of her. He has assisted her with her immaculate degeneration, given her the best advice and treated her with the best eye care.
He has been a great eye doctor for me as well. I appreciate him and I highly suggest that anyone coming in request him and also if you’re looking for an eye doctor and you’re scanning through reviews, definitely choose this place. Roxanne is amazing. She is an excellent front desk associate and Emily is a rockstar when it comes to ordering and frame measurements.“

“I would like to first start off by saying that Dr. Hurt and Jamal in Optical are AMAZING! I felt really taken care of and both answered any question I had. Even talking with the scheduler on the phone was a pleasant experience! She was super nice and made sure my insurance was up to date.BUT, this was my first time at KY Eye Care and sadly this experience was sullied by the unnamed tech who took my prescription, got my info, and dilated me. She didn’t bother to introduce herself or else I would name drop, but she has blonde hair, glasses, and the WORST attitude I have ever come across. I have never been treated like less than a human being. She was rude and not personable at all. Maybe she was having a bad day (she was cussing when the computer was acting up), but still…like customer service is part of the gig, girl. I find this to be a big deal because she spends just as much time with the patient as the OD, and she did not represent KEC in a positive light. Thanks!“

“I’ve been going to this Walmart Vision Center since 2010. John had been great although not there anymore. Patrick and Tina are great and on point. Great sales and excellent customer service. Both have a comfortable pleasant demeanor. I get my prescription by Dr. Gary in the mall and bring it here. My glasses are better quality and only 1/3 cost of the place in the mall. They have one year warranty included in the cost. I usually get a free case and free glass cleaner with each pair I buy. I recommend this particular vision center.Update: Tina and Patrick are great.I was not impressed with the doctor that performs exams at this location and I prefer Dr. Gary in Greentree Mall.update: different attitude from staff.update: must have an appointment. Tina said Patrick in pharmacy dept. now. he willbe missed. Tina cordial and friendly, there is a huge selection of frames.update: Nancy is nice and remembers my name.
