“I have been doing yoga classes with Anu for several months now. She is very patient and encouraging. I love that she tailors each class to our body’s needs. She always explains the purpose of each pose or movement, and gives constructive feedback as she observes us practice. I can already tell that my fitness is slowly improving and I look forward to continuing along this path of wellness. She also includes breathing and meditation exercises into every class, which helps immensely with calming the mind. I have done classes both in-person and over zoom, and have enjoyed both. At the end of each class I feel rejuvenated and at peace. I am so grateful to be able to learn from Anu. I highly recommend Yoganubhav!“

“Ron was my personal trainer for a little over a year. Prior to working out with Ron, I was ignorant on what it takes for someone to not only have a healthy diet, but more importantly, a healthy lifestyle. In addition, I was unaware of how just important it was to incorporate lifting weights in your workouts. I was that girl whose mindset was, “cardio is key in order to lose weight.” I didn’t know what it meant to be fit.It wasn’t until Ron became my personal trainer when I gained the knowledge I have today on what it really takes to get into shape. During my time with Ron is when I was in the best shape of my life and truly saw my body transform. For me, the impossible honestly became possible. Ron pushed me beyond what I thought I was capable of, however, never pushed me too far. He was always so understanding and patient and never forced me to work at a pace that I was uncomfortable at. My endurance increased tremendously and I consistently saw progress on my weight lifting. Every week, Ron would either have me increase the weights, increase my sets and/or do super sets. We would always focus on a different muscle group every week and he constantly changed up my workouts so my body never got used to the same thing. As I mentioned above, the transformation and muscle growth I saw my body have while having a more positive mindset and lifestyle was all thanks to Ron. If you are thinking or considering having Ron as your personal trainer, I promise you won’t be disappointed.“

“I love Energie and have been doing Pilates here for almost 9 years. The variety of workouts, the quality of instructors, and the overall boutique vibe are what I like most. I also had 11 inches of spinal fusion years ago, so the workouts here are great because I can modify anything necessary and still target the intended muscle group. The instructors get to know everyone in the class, are knowledgeable, mindful of ability levels and offer options if you’re looking to make a series of exercises more advanced or simplified. Convenient class times fit my schedule perfectly.The reformer classes are effective without pushing you too far, and are also different each time, while working your whole body synergistically. The upstairs loft has a fantastic space available for group or private sessions. Class sizes here are ideal as well, and don’t feel like other “big box gyms” where you get lost and feel like just a number. On a possibly unrelated note, but something important to me, is that parking is never an issue—you can park right there and go up the stairs or elevator. I highly recommend Energie!“

“I think it's time to update my review since I've been a member at Club Pilates South for six years now. I think my long-running membership says a lot. The club has 12 reformers, a one-on-one room for private training and a bathroom. There are no lockers, but the small reception area has cubbies to store your personal belongings. There are multiple levels of workouts and types of workouts as well. You can conveniently schedule your workouts on the Club Pilates app. There are varying levels of membership as well. I am an unlimited member, which means I can go between any of the Club Pilates studios of this particular owner. The front desk staff and managers at both South and North are always welcoming and friendly. The Pilates instructors vary slightly in their teaching techniques, but they excel at providing full body workouts using the various Pilates equipment like the reformer, chair, springboard, TRX, bosu, box and various bands, circle and fit ball. The instructors are very knowledgeable and go through intensive training. They keep a watchful eye on their clients for proper form and safety making modifications if a client is dealing with an injury like me. Since my knee injury, I went back to level one workouts, but still feel that I get an intense and effective workout, never the same and always varying. That's what I love about Pilates. Workouts never get stale and are full body workouts. The owner Eric cares about his members. Not only does he find the best instructors and staff, Eric provides incentives for his members and recognizes their achievements. It's motivating to see your name move up the achievement board to the top 1000 milestone mark, and it's fun to see your achievement on their social media. I can't say enough good things about Club Pilates South and Club Pilates North Studios. Eric also added a third location, Club Pilates Plainfield. I haven't worked out there, but I'm sure it's just as fabulous as the South and North studios. If you're looking for a clean workout facility with top notch instructors providing an effective full-body workout with some fun and laughter sprinkled throughout, I would highly recommend Eric's clubs.“

“Big fan of Shyft! Kyla is my instructor and does a fabulous job. I walk away from our reformer class feeling so great. Stretched, worked out and more focused. As someone who had their knee reconstructed, I love the low impact work out that really builds some heat. The studio is quaint, clean and quiet which I appreciate. Love it so much here I got a monthly membership, I highly recommend anyone who wants to try a class to sign up for a drop in or community class to try it, you'll love it!“

“I have been to Rise Physical Therapy after my knee arthroscopy surgery. In this day and age where patients at many clinics are given very little personal attention , the therapist here treats every patient one on one , takes time to educate the patient , train the patient, as required , gives Home excercise programs on an ongoing basis. You can see a clear difference between a commercial clinic vs one therapist working with passion, and compassion! I wish her the very best in all her future endeavors!“

“This was one of the most remarkable vacations I've taken and probably the best yoga retreat ever! Laura Jane offers something for everyone, from the twice-daily yoga practices, to the remarkable accommodations and food, and the wonderful daily excursions. I saw parts of France regular tourists miss and did it with an amazing group of yogis -- everyone was so welcoming and friendly. This is the fourth retreat I've done with Laura Jane, and it was truly "next level". I've already signed up for next year's retreat to Spain.“

“If I could give more than 5 stars to Shoucha Yoga Studio and Vicki, I would. I started going to Shoucha Yoga 3 years ago. Before I picked this studio, I called several studios, but when I talked to Vicki, the owner and teacher, at Shoucha Yoga Studio, I knew that this is the pIace for me, this is where I want to practice yoga. Vicki lives yoga on and off the mat. The classes she teaches are much more than excellent physical exercises for the body, but also for the mental and spiritual growth. During the yoga practice, Vicki skillfully and tactfully guides her students. There is no judgement or pressure, she respects everyone’s individuality and lets each person to self-realize, reach the potential, and get in touch with the higher self without imposing. Vicki is very knowledgeable and her classes are never boring, she changes up the routine. If you want to grow spiritually, while strengthening your body and improving your physical and mental health, Shoucha Yoga is the best choice for you. I highly recommend it!
