C.B.M. Plumbing absolutely crushed it on our job site. I’ve worked around enough contractors and underground crews to know the difference between companies that “say they can do it” and companies that actually show up, get it done, and make the entire project run smoother. C.B.M. is the real deal.
From day one, their crew operated like a well-oiled machine. No standing around pretending to look busy. No disappearing for three hours after lunch. These guys came in ready to work, and when they started moving dirt and laying pipe, it looked like a coordinated military operation mixed with a NASCAR pit crew.
One thing that immediately stood out was their equipment lineup. Seeing a fleet of clean, well-maintained John Deere construction equipment on-site told me right away these guys take their operation seriously. And let me tell you — those Deere machines were WORKING. Excavators digging with precision, loaders moving material nonstop, and operators who clearly knew those machines like the back of their hand. Honestly, it was enough to make every construction guy on-site stop for a second and admire the setup.
The professionalism was next level. Every operator, laborer, and foreman knew exactly what they were doing. Communication was solid, timelines were hit, and they handled problems on-site without turning every little issue into a dramatic production meeting with 14 people pointing at blueprints pretending to know what’s going on.
And let’s be honest — underground utility work is not glamorous. It’s mud, tight schedules, inspections, weather problems, unexpected surprises underground, and equipment that always seems to know the worst possible time to act up. But C.B.M. handled everything with experience and confidence. Watching them work honestly made some of the other trades look like they were filming a documentary called “How Not To Run A Job Site.”
What impressed me most was how organized and efficient they were. Their trenches were clean, grades were accurate, site safety was taken seriously, and the project kept moving forward without chaos. That alone deserves 5 stars in construction because everyone knows one bad underground contractor can delay an entire project faster than a porta-potty tipping over in the wind.
The workmanship was excellent, the crew clearly takes pride in what they do, and you can tell this isn’t a company built on shortcuts or excuses. They do things the right way the first time.
Also worth mentioning: the crew was great to work with. Respectful, hardworking, and no ego trips. In construction that’s rarer than finding a superintendent without a coffee in his hand.
If you need underground plumbing, utility, or site work done for a large commercial project, stop wasting time shopping around. C.B.M. Plumbing is the company you want on your site. Reliable, experienced, efficient, and backed by a serious fleet of John Deere equipment that’s built to perform.
5 stars all day long!!!
