“I am post op week 5 from a mommy makeover (BA, TT, lipo), and luckily I learned to appreciate the benefit of manual lymphatic drainage massage from my Miami surgeon's in-house MLD therapists in the week immediately post op. I read that MLD is a very specialized technique, and I was worried after traveling back home that I would struggle to find another therapist that could keep my surgical healing journey going, help me prevent complications, and optimize my aesthetic outcome. I have had 7 or 8 massages so far with Slavik and my tissue has recovered significantly, swelling has been subsiding everywhere, and I have no concerns for fibrosis or seroma. I love how knowledgeable Slavik is on the topic of post surgical massage & scar care and how he freely shares his information in session according to your needs. In addition, it is really awesome to get that professional feedback a few times per week on the current state of your scars and tissue healing. A few times based on Slavik's feedback I realized I needed to adjust my compression strategy to avoid causing permanent skin damage and slow down & respect the long term healing process. “Good massage. The therapist communicated with me throughout the process. When I arrived I went over what I wanted. They charged me up front but told me there was a three dollar charge to use a credit card. I said you should probably have that on the site were you book. That way if someone's wants they can bring cash. However, at the end she said that she was not going to be charging the 3 dollars when I asked if I use my card for the tip will I get charged another 3 dollars. My bank did show the charge. But we will see what happens when everything is processed.“
