I am post op week 5 from a mommy makeover (BA, TT, lipo), and luckily I learned to appreciate the benefit of manual lymphatic drainage massage from my Miami surgeon's in-house MLD therapists in the week immediately post op. I read that MLD is a very specialized technique, and I was worried after traveling back home that I would struggle to find another therapist that could keep my surgical healing journey going, help me prevent complications, and optimize my aesthetic outcome.
