“First time coming back since the new owners. What a difference. After my previous experiences with the former owner and having to wait anywhere from 30 minutes to close to two hours to see Dr. DeKoster (who is no longer there), I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly I was seen by both staff and Doctor. First of all, the wonderful woman that was at the desk named Diamond was very kind and courteous and helpful. Had to fill out the necessary paperwork and it took no time to do this. I didn't even have a chance to sit down when I was called to do the preliminary eye exams. That part was handled by one of THE NICEST, BEST AND MOST KNOWLEDGEABLE people I have ever interacted with at Melrose. Her name is Nicole and it was one of the best experiences I ever had. She did a very thorough job of examining my eyes, explained each procedure and I felt totally at ease because of her. She is going to be a fantastic optometrist in the future! Afterwards, Dr.Dzubur came in and what a pleasant experience THAT was. Very down to earth guy, explains everything to you. I came away from this visit knowing more about my eyes than the entire times I went to Melrose Eyecare before. Very grateful for all of the help that I was given and how wonderful everyone treated me. I am very satisfied with the new owners and look forward to my next visit. Great job!“

Dr. Kim recently diagnosed my daughter with convergence insufficiency and suggested vision therapy.Elena and Gretchen are fantastic therapists. “I have been seeing Dr. Frame since 2016 or 2017 now, and he always takes great care to ask how things have been and run the necessary tests, etc. He has great chair-side manner and doesn’t get frustrated when I ask him to repeat “1…or 2..?” multiple times. ? The ladies who have worked the front have been with him this whole time and are truly wonderful! They are always friendly, remember me from the last visit, explain my benefits very well, and have encouraged me to step out of my comfort zone with fun and funky frames I now love and look for. I’ve sent several other people there and all are repeat patients and customers who like the easy, personal, and even fun experience they provide!I will say that while I love their frames, they’re not a cheap investment. But I also say investment, because they and the lenses really do last! The last three years the entire staff has been especially helpful, as I came back when I realized my prescription wasn’t quite right, and then they helped save me money with the protection insurance and swapping lenses in my old frames for a smaller cost, maximizing my benefits, etc. It has been great to always have an extra pair for style changes or just in case.I can’t see myself switching to anywhere else until I absolutely have to, because I can’t imagine finding a better experience or better care. I am very picky about my doctors and feel like I hit the jackpot with this office!(My last visit was a tough choice, but many of their frames are so funky & fun!! They also have many that are more basic, conservative, or not quite as loud. Something for everyone!)“
