The material was discolored and hardened by the burn. If they couldn’t fix it, I was really going to have to scramble. I have no clue how, but they completely got out the burn and the fibers aren’t stiff, it honestly looks like a different pair of pants. It makes no sense. Bad burn. They had closed for the day on a Sunday, and my buddy called to see if there was any place that would clean my dad's suit and lucky dress shirt (the one he wore for the birth of all three of his children) for his funeral the following Tuesday.
