“Might be a long story but worth the read.We decided to get a puppy for Xmas for our kids. We had to have it delivered from Ohio on Christmas Eve. We were searching to board it overnight to keep it a surprise for the kids.Mike and his family came to the rescue last minute. Amazing, professional, this family welcomed us and our new dog with open arms.They took the puppy in overnight and delivered it in a red ribbon box with poem from Santa on the box on Christmas Day.Our kids were crying with excitement.Unbelievable how nice this family is.Thanks again for making an unbelievable memory.“

“We've been utilizing John's kenneling services for probably over 10 years now. When we have picked up the dogs, they are always well and happy to see us. Also the prices are very competitive and the facility is local to where I live. He has also been happy to do last minute accommodations when i have had to do that. It is not a fancy dog hotel nor are there a bunch of bells and whistles but John is attentive, professional and calm which is a good quality to have when working around dogs. He also offers other services like dog walks during boarding and grooming. When i come to pick up or drop off I see him working the grounds or busy in the kennels. His home is right on the property which is nice. Our latest dog was not well socialized at first and not great with men but has had no issues with him, although jokes about his barking (which is very true). Some things to keep in mind...make sure to offer specific instructions (and write down) if your dog has special needs like feeding times, medication, etc. Also take note of the hours. One day and on weekends he closes earlier than normal. (Sunday's pick up is only an hour long). Finally if your dog goes to the bathroom on the property and you don't have a bag, let John know where it is and he'll gladly pick it up for you. I will happily continue to keep boarding my pets here.“

“Dr. Benson inspires my confidence in his ability to calmly and professionally take care of my small birds. He trained under one of the best avian vets in the Chicagoland area in his teens and has become an incredible, compassionate veterinarian. He’s also really funny and an all around cool guy!!“

“Super helpful in making sure our kitty, Turtle was in good hands! Recommended the most affordable + best quality emergency vet. Provided me with multiple options of care that was the most affordable yet still would result in our kitten getting better and back to 100%. “I am not one to leave reviews but.. I would like to thank the whole team for being so kind and compassionate to me and my piggy. They took great care of my girl until it was time for her to be put down. I called an hour before closing time and they told me they would wait for me. As they were getting things ready even though it was past closing time the girl that was there offered more time for us to say goodbye. It really meant a lot to me and my family. We are super thankful. I just opened my mail and saw they sent a sympathy card, it brought tears to my eyes. These are the people you want taking care of your pets! Always welcoming and attentive. “I took my baby here this morning to get a wellness exam and her updated rabies shots. Had an appointment for 8:45 AM we came on time got checked in at the counter. The lady checking us in seemed to be having a bad day. She wasn't all that friendly. However, everyone else was very pleasant. The veterinarian was so kind and informative, she let me ask all the questions I needed and answered any of my concerns. I came in at 8:45 and left at 9:20ish. Which is pretty good. I also thought the price was pretty affordable. For her wellness check and 3 year rabies altogether it was $180.00. I was definitely preparing for a steeper number than that. Overall, it was a pleasant visit and I always feel my kitty is in great care here.“
