“Came home this afternoon to find water in my basement. the water at the floor drain was a still puddle, nothing was going down. I tried to snake it out but that was futile. After reading a reviews of a handful of plumbers I called Hydro Dynamics (it didn't hurt that they were also closest to my home). Richie answered the phone when I called, listened to my description of the problem and said he'd have someone there in under 90 minutes. Richie himself showed up about 70 minutes later. He looked at the situation (overhead sewers) and checked a few things, then diagnosed a failed sump pump. He had one on the truck and less than 90 minutes after he arrived the new pump was installed and the water was flowing down the drain again.
