“I’m Dan R (44), and in the blink of an eye I went from running six miles a day to struggling to walk a few blocks. What I first thought was a normal sports injury lingered for weeks, then months. That’s when I decided to seek help at Theory.

From the very beginning, Dena sensed that my pain wasn’t a typical sports injury, something else was going on. What followed was a revolving door of doctor appointments: my primary care physician, a rheumatologist, an endocrinologist, and a long list of tests.

Through all of that uncertainty, the one constant was Theory, and especially Dena. While I sometimes went weeks without hearing from one of my doctors or getting a clear explanation of my results, she was always there. She didn’t just help manage my pain, she helped manage the emotional side of it too.

It’s incredibly difficult to go from being in peak physical shape to struggling to open a bottle of water or get dressed. Dena understood that, and she treated me like a person, not a case.

“With Childhood Apraxia of Speech being such a complex speech disorder, finding the most beneficial method of speech therapy takes a lot of trial and error. After several years of traditional speech therapy, I decided to have my teenage son try PROMPT therapy and that’s when we were blessed enough to meet Maelah. She is exceptional in every way. She is kind, friendly, and meets my son at his comfort level. She also helped push for a more personalized method of speech therapy in his high school speech therapy sessions which was a huge win for us. I cannot recommend Maelah enough!“

“I had right hip replacement surgery performed by Dr. Aribindi in 2024. I hesitated to go forward with the surgery based on pain and uncertainty of the recovery time. After reassurance and a professional guidance from Dr. Aribindi I decided to go forward with the surgery.

A year later I am happy to report I am pain-free, with no imbalance issue and overall pleased with the decision to have the surgery. I do not use a cane or need assistance walking. “Miss Ronnie at Westside Children's Therapy of Frankfort has been our savior! She treated my son for torticollis and plagiocephaly and it helped immensely with his range of motion and comfort. Eventually, she also worked with him on his toe-walking and we made significant improvements in his flexibility and habits. Most importantly, our son LOVES coming to his appointment each week.
