“I was told to have surgery prior to meetingDr Jeff. I had a C3 and C4 disk compression and my lumbar as well. The surgery was terrifying and very risky with a laundry list of possible side effect and complications (vocal cord/ voice change, possible infection and other typical things when entering from the neck to work on the back). I opted to follow the protocol at IL back institute as a conservative measure instead of a fusion. I was so happy and satisfied that I used logic to approach my decision.

Stella was amazing and she conducted my intake. We reviewed the science behind my issue and they were kind, patient, and explained so much so that I had the education behind my problem. I have referred about 1dozen people to them because they saved my spine in 2018. The final logic for me was that if I did a fusion surgery as recommended by a surgeon.... I was still going to need about 2months of physical therapy after the surgery anyway. This made no sense to me. I knew that I needed to give this process a chance because both methods required an investment of my time and therapy type of implementation. I opt to skip the surgery and go straight to the therapy portion with IL back institute. Dr. Jeff's personal story of his own painful back problem in his youth shows the passion and compassion for his patients. His machines are unique and proprietary along with his protocol. Do yourself a favor and try the IL back institute FIRST before you go under the knife and sign up for complications and risk. The environment is clean and fun to heal in. The equipment is stellar.This team is kind and patient. You have to committ to the process and invest in yourself. It works and if you put in the time and follow the system, you will be pain free.“
