“Great family-run business. We recently had our master bathroom remodeled and reached out to HMI for our first quote. Tom, the owner, came to our home surveyed the job and was back in no time with a very reasonable price based on everything that we wanted. He worked with us every step of the way in choosing all of the fixtures and materials needed to complete the project.HMI contractors are very professional and very neat with their work. They are quick to identify mistakes and how to fix them. They made sure to correct every mistake the original builders hid behind the walls and underneath floorboards. They are also very thorough in making sure everything is exactly as you want it- often asking you questions that you wouldn't even think to ask. “We interviewed a number of contractors but G-CAT who was referred to us by a friend was our final choice.

They did a great job removing our asphalt driveway, porch and large cracked concrete patio and replaced it with concrete. We also had a sidewalk added connecting the driveway to the backyard patio.

Vito helped make design recommendations when we asked and the design is perfect. Michael , his father also was part of the team and he helped us understand some of our current village code standards for our safety which we didn't have in our prior porch and steps.

We looked forward to hearing the workers arriving at our house by 615a with large equipment and they worked wonderfully as a hard working team to get the job done.

We love our concrete work and our neighbors keep stopping by admiring it and making alot of positive comments to how it help enhance our home and street appeal.

“I had 3 distinct slabs to reduce radon under - my basement, slab on grade family room, and garage. It was a tough job, and the results speak for themselves.

These guys are fast, extremely effective, and most of all really easy to work with. I decided to go with a different radon fan and they were accommodating with the cost adjustments.

Here are the results:
Radon Test Readings Pre-Mitigation:
~11.0 in Basement (official home inspection determined a level of 8.0)
Family Room (slab on grade):
~3.0-4.0
Radon Test Readings Post-Mitigation:
0.3 in Garage
0.3 in Family Room

Note: to ensure accuracy, I delayed the post mitigation radon reading for 5 days after remediation and kept the home in closed conditions during that period as well as the 3-day reading period. I have a high level of confidence that this issue is fully resolved!“
