She spent a great amount of time with our pooch at each visit. We were always able to get an appointment when we needed. When our pooch declined she told us the signs to watch for. Our family is very grateful for all the love and care we received from the entire staff. Our sweet doggie is now in heaven and we will see him again one day.“

“My kitten needed emergency surgery after an xray at her vet showed she swallowed something metal like a battery. Staff was thorough and clear in communication on next steps, costs, potential complications, permission before handing her to a very skilled surgeon and team. They also were very tuned into her emotional needs as a tiny kitten in the ICU and kept her in a quiet area and well attended. The surgeon Dr. Kienitz and the surgical intern Dr. Sirr were excellent. Her waiting for surgery, just home and one week out.“

I live only a block away from Broadway AH after recently moving to the neighborhood & am not, yet, an established client. However, on Friday morning, it was clear that my 19 year old kitty was in distress at the end of her life & that we would not be able to keep a previously scheduled euthanasia appointment.
Broadway was able to get us in within a couple of hours for an exam & consult to make end of life decisions.
I have worked in vet med & rescue. I was fairly certain I would be sent to a ER clinic. Instead, Paisley & I were treated with compassion and care at our local veterinarian.
I will be establishing my other kitty with Broadway AH for her future care.

My preferred vet is Dr. Pinhasi, I went through a really hard experience losing a pet and she and all the staff wrote me a very kind message in a card expressing their condolences. It was so touching during a really hard time. When I adopted a new pet I took her to Oz and had her seen by Dr. Jakubowski. She’s fine at her work but she’s insensitive. When meeting my new pet she said “I see you went with a Shiba again, most people don’t do that.” It was so awkward, and I was already so stressed out being at a vet offices for the first time since my dog died. I was just at a loss for words. Another appointment I had with her, my dog had gained weight (about five pounds) after a change in her food and she did this big over the top reaction when she walked in the door. Just communicate, she needs to lose five pounds. No need for“

“I live in the city of Chicago and when the Ophthalmologist left MedVet we had to figure something out. My dog has a lifetime condition and I had to act fast. I called Eye Care and they connected me to the Wheeling office and I haven't looked back. It feels like Dr. Wasserman and the WHOLE team there really care about me and my pet. I call or email frantic messages and they always respond in a calm way. When a pet mom is nervous and out of options the team here really help and not match my emotions.
