“Approximately a year ago, I came into MSB Pilates as a solution for lower back pain. But I didn't expect to love it so much that it has now become a regular part of my routine, and has improved my personal health in so many ways. I want to give a big thanks to Heather and Amy. Their warm and caring approach makes every visit enjoyable. I have felt such a positive change in my body, and found such a nice community at MBS Pilates, I would definitely reccomend that you check this place out!!!“

“I love Energie and have been doing Pilates here for almost 9 years. The variety of workouts, the quality of instructors, and the overall boutique vibe are what I like most. I also had 11 inches of spinal fusion years ago, so the workouts here are great because I can modify anything necessary and still target the intended muscle group. The instructors get to know everyone in the class, are knowledgeable, mindful of ability levels and offer options if you’re looking to make a series of exercises more advanced or simplified. Convenient class times fit my schedule perfectly.The reformer classes are effective without pushing you too far, and are also different each time, while working your whole body synergistically. The upstairs loft has a fantastic space available for group or private sessions. Class sizes here are ideal as well, and don’t feel like other “big box gyms” where you get lost and feel like just a number. On a possibly unrelated note, but something important to me, is that parking is never an issue—you can park right there and go up the stairs or elevator. I highly recommend Energie!“

“I am so grateful to have found this studio and that it has brought the practice of yoga back into my life. They have flexible class times that allow me to squeeze in classes outside of the traditional 9-to-5 work hours. All of the teachers are very friendly and offer modifications for students of all experience levels. I love heated yoga classes and appreciate the peaceful and darker environment inside the studio. I have also enjoyed some of their special event classes like yoga at a brewery which was a nice way to socialize and meet people who go to the classes. Highly recommend this studio to others!“

“Big fan of Shyft! Kyla is my instructor and does a fabulous job. I walk away from our reformer class feeling so great. Stretched, worked out and more focused. As someone who had their knee reconstructed, I love the low impact work out that really builds some heat. The studio is quaint, clean and quiet which I appreciate. Love it so much here I got a monthly membership, I highly recommend anyone who wants to try a class to sign up for a drop in or community class to try it, you'll love it!“

“When I decided to try pilates with Sarah at Embody Movement two years ago, I had no idea what a difference it would make in my life! After years of pain and frustration because nothing I tried was working, I knew immediately that I had finally found help.Sarah has an amazing understanding of how the body works and of how pilates works with the body. She correctly assessed exactly what I needed. I learned the importance of correct breathing, a strong core, proper form and using only the muscles required for any movement.By focusing on these each session, before long I was seeing significant results. “Ever since the free intro class I tried out, Club Pilates Elmhurst has been nothing but amazing! Every staff member and instructor is kind, funny, and skilled in helping members maximize 50 minute classes. My body feels 10x better and more rejuvenated after every class. Whenever I have a question or have trouble with the waitlist system, the staff is always helpful in answering any and all questions. Give Club Pilates a try if you want to feel like a million bucks and improve your overall well-being!“

“What a wonderful find to get back into the working out routine. Who would have thought I'd actually look forward to going to work out? I was looking for something different that would help strengthen my back and neck, but also help stretch out my tight muscles. I used to go to physical therapy that used Pilates machines, so this was perfect for my needs.First of all, Jamie (owner) was so responsive and helpful when the studio had their grand opening. She always responded to my questions via text or on Facebook when I first reached out. The nice thing about this place is that it seems most everyone joining is new to Pilates. And everyone is coming in all shapes and sizes. The instructor asks if anyone has any issues or pain in which they need modification of exercises. I find the classes relaxing, but my body is getting toned. I am noticing a difference after just 8 classes. I have been going 5 days per week to try to establish a new routine.You book the classes in their app, which I also love because it keeps me committed to GOING to my class instead of making excuses and then not going. If you have the unlimited plan (like I do), you get charged $10 if you cancel a class within 12 hours of the class starting. The level below this one allows for 8 sessions per month and if you don't cancel within the 12-hour window, you lose 1 class credit (of your 8 credits for the month). The staff is so friendly.....as are the other members. Very cute studio and brand new machines. They are offering a free 30-minute trial class so you can try before you buy.“

“LOVE Pilates! It's definitely difficult & I leave each class sweaty but revved up. I've only taken 14 classes so far but this regime is perfect for someone like me, who started weak, flabby & utterly out of shape. It has helped my back pain tremendously as well as adding strength to my legs & arms. My big problem is that I've missed classes due to either forgetting I had booked them (!!) or not being mindful of time. Can't blame anybody but myself on that! But how cool is this: I receive a text now the day before as well as the day of a scheduled class to remind me! I love that! So glad I started back on the road to getting stronger! This studio is super“
