Once my role was complete and I was out of state, we had a few small issues arise. Alexis was able to coordinate with me remotely to get all of the outstanding odds and ends addressed despite our being quite removed from their normal service area. “I don't know what happened with the other review, except that my experience with Larry and Sweet Home Design has been completely different and I could not be happier with the work they have done in my home. They had a huge job because we were removing a load bearing wall and they had to put in a beam to support the roof. We got our cabinets from Larry and they are by far the best built, most beautiful cabinets I have seen (I got quotes, etc., from six other contractors before settling on Sweet Home Design...they were all telling me to save money by buying cabinets with pressed wood on the inside...) I cannot tell you how beautiful my hardwood cabinets are. The doors are hickory and the inside hardwood plywood. They have soft closure and go all the way to the ceiling. The moulding is a simple stairstep design but sets off the cabinets perfectly. Of his workers from plumbers, electricians, floor repair men, tilers, carpenters to painters, some were of foreign origin, but I had no problems communicating with them. Sometimes they worked well into the night, but considering how quickly the job was completed, I did not mind. They were always polite and accommodating. We removed two walls, put in a supporting beam, replaced our entire kitchen, threaded in hardwood and stained the whole upstairs to match, build a stairway railing system, tiled the front foyer, had insulation blown into the attic, and had the entire house upstairs painted after drywalling. This was a huge undertaking. The job was fininshed from gut to completion in six weeks, the price was much more reasonable than others and I consider the quality of workmanship superb. We intend to ask Larry and Sweet Home Design to come back next year to redo our bathrooms. I would recommend Sweet Home Design and Larry Majewski to anyone considering a home renovation!“

He really was able to help coach me through things I would and wouldn't wish I had.. he went as far as making sure I had an easily accessible step stool built in so I could reach the tallest shelves... he redesigned the garbage can so it had greater capacity than I initially indicated and boy do I appreciate that now... he suggested added lighting that really is a dream.. he suggested drawers over cabinets in an area for the pots that I LOVE... outlet placement, color ideas, etc... With no notice he was able to do all the electrical and plumbing, totally responsive and respectful, some of the cleanest work I’ve ever seen done.
