“I have been bringing my birds to see Dr. Ness for close to 30 years. He is hands down the best exotic vet in the Chicago area. He has several other vets that work in his practice, and I trust all of them, but Dr. Ness is definitely my favorite. I needed to bring in my parakeet on an emergency basis, and I was able to get an appointment the same day, which is rare, but I was very thankful. She was able to be treated on the spot and Dr. Ness and the tech answered all my questions about the treatment and follow ups.“

I never feel like they are trying to oversell anything that isn’t necessary, and I feel that my dogs have always received prompt and empathetic care. “My dog Elvis is reactive and fearful… he suffers from bad anxiety and protects himself by showing aggression. Elvis broke a tooth and I was referred to this clinic from his primary vet that comes to our home after a sedation shot did not work on Elvis and it was unsafe to do his extraction. From the moment we got there.. the staff kept Elvis’ anxiety and stress controlled. Dr. Dan is the first Dr. that my dog has allowed to touch him without lunging or growling. The staff scheduled Elvis’ surgery on a day where he will be the only dog getting worked on to keep his stress levels low… if I could give this place a thousand stars I would… thank you so much staff & Dr. Dan“
