However, the project took much longer (nearly 7 months) and cost more than initially quoted due to unforeseen issues and upgrades (some of which were at our request). Communication was generally good, but for the sake of constructive feedback, more thorough documentation of changes and detailed quotes of change orders would have improved transparency. We also didn't get to keep many of the leftover materials; we have several types of tile and flooring, but only have a few boards and no tiles. Hoping this isn’t an issue for any potential repairs in the future. Despite some of the challenges along the way, we're very happy with the final results. Adam and his team were very accommodating and never said no to something we wanted, offering suggestions and feedback, which was appreciated. “Things typically go wrong on a holiday. I made a quick call to Roto-rooter when our water heater was spewing water in our basement. Azzy was quick to find that the overflow valve was shot. He had to rod out the drain near the heater before he could drain the tank and replace to bad valve. All was done in good time and he kept us informed in the process. He left the area clean. We also got an estimate for damage mitigation as the original flood left us with some wet baseboards. The staff was very helpful. Will call again when we need help!“
