I live in New York but fly in to get haircuts from Matina! She is worth it. Honestly she should be famous. Does an incredible job with cutting bangs!! Always uses the best and most up to date hair products. I can't recommend this place enough. I've never met anyone who has gone to Kovo and hasn't been satisfied.

My friend recommended me to this salon after I asked her about her great hair color. LOVED IT!! I loved that it was so small and personal. The same person cuts, colors, shampoos, styles. I liked that! Instead of all the silly nonsense of other salons, like needing to be able to find 2 appointments together from a colorist AND a stylist. Carly did my hair exactly as I wanted it! She really brightened up the color and I've gotten so many compliments. The price is very reasonable. Matina is the owner, and she is lovely. It felt like being among friends in there. Love this place!!

This place is AH-MAZING!! After basically living my entire life with short hair, I decided to grow it out (LOOK OUT JASON MAMOA!!), but honestly had no idea what I'm doing or how to style my hair in any way. I live in Boston, but was in town for my fiancé's best friend's wedding, and of course I look like a hot mess - so I decided to try and make myself look presentable and not like a homeless guy who snuck into this wedding. My fiancé ended up needing some alterations done on her bridesmaid's dress, and Kovo was just right next door. Boy did I luck out!!! I walked in and had Matina (the owner) worked with me. She was kind, attentive, and gave me fantastic direction...read full review
