I moved to Chicago about two years ago and this has been my preferred vet since. I wouldn’t recommend any other Banfield before them because the receptionist is incredibly nice. The nurses are patient with my stubborn, cute dog, and they are always doing their best to ensure I schedule in advance or call me to remind me of any changes or any appointments I might need to set up due to scheduling. Overall never had a bad experience here.

I've traveled with my dog from LA to NY to Chicago so I have had my fair share of experiences with Veterinarians. I've been to a couple of Vets in Chicago and I don't have any bad complaints per se - I also realized pretty shortly after adopting my dog that Veterinarians are booked and busy, so I don't feel entitled or expect services beyond the general care of my pet. However, I'm leaving this review because Banfield, (Gold Coast specifically) was wonderful. From the front desk staff, to the assistants to the the doctor (Dr Baldwin). Every step of my experience today exceeded all my expectations and truly calmed the anxiety I had around my dogs care. I highly recommend...read full review

This hospital has the best staff!*going off the last review this location was open on Memorial Day as i dropped my dog off at about 7:15 am and didn’t pick him up until almost 5! *
