Paul Mirza is the KING of color! He gave my mother this rich and gorgeous copper balayage that no other artist has yet to give her. It compliments her skin tone so perfectly as you can see in the photo. Paul is patient, kind, educated, and knows exactly what suits you since he has a great sense of style. With my respect to other stylists at this location, Paul is by far the best at Agnes salon and in Chicago. I can't wait to get my color and cut done with him soon! Seriously can't thank him enough for making my mom look and feel beautiful. This is what you call a true artist!!!

I’ve been Paul’s client for at least 18 years. He does a beautiful job coloring my red hair (it’s now going white so I go in to cover my roots). He also is able to tame my thick bushy hair! I get so many compliments from complete strangers after he does a cut, color and blowout on my walk home! The salon space is nice with loft ceilings and floor to ceiling windows for plenty of natural light. It’s clean and modern with classic movies on a large screen tv to watch while sitting under the dryers. The shampoo ladies give a nice scalp scrub and are all very sweet. I've been coming to Agnes O since the salon opened. Agnes has been cutting my hair for years (since she was with another salon on Oak street) and I followed her here when she opened her own salon. She has always been very thorough in cutting my longish hair. She does the BEST blowouts! I wish I could hire her to come to my house every day and give me one. Frank has been doing my color for several years now and does a great job covering my gray and giving me pretty highlights and lowlights to bring out my color. If you're only getting color they do have blow dry stations with some product for you to dry and style your own hair. My only complaint is that the blow driers...read full review
