“My wife heard about this place from a friend. It came very highly recommended so we immediately took our children to sign up. The first time we went, they let my kids join in the class without worrying about payment or anything. This was nice because we wanted to make sure our kids liked the place and felt comfortable. “This is a great place to take a once a week self defense class. Being almost a senior citizen, I was wary of what would happen. I've learned a lot of good basic moves in just two months. Mike the head instructor and others are great trainers and very patient with new people.“

The majority of the students do not and has a great chemistry when you walk in the door. I think this is why Goytia's Martial Arts has been on Chicago's Southside for several decades and is reveered as one of the best schools for self defense and sport fighting.
