About Morgan Park Sports Center

The skating director is phenomenal. The ice is always smooth as they zamboni the ice after every class. The people at the facility are nice and are very welcoming. Whether you are a seasoned skater or brand new you will feel at home there. We used live close by but even now that we've moved far away I still travel to this rink. It isn't crowded and it is clean, modern and new. My kids and I love it there!
I enjoy coming here for ice skating and this is one of my go-to spots. The facility is nice and well maintained. The rink is quality. Sometimes it can be crowded during Public Skate, other times not as much. Nonetheless, MPSC is a great resource provided by the Park District for the South Side and I am glad they offer ice skating year round.
The Self- defense class Shi fu Owen was fantastic! He gives each student a chance to practice one- on- one, and gave solutions to possible scenarios in the event we have to defend ourselves. Great Mommy and me bonding time, we'll be returning!
