I was in town and was invited to an open mat by a close friend of mine. I have nothing but good things to say about this academy. The facility was clean and there was plenty of mat space. The people I trained with were skilled, but more importantly they were all very kind and welcoming. I immediately felt like I belonged, and was never made to feel like an outsider. I was especially impressed with the black belts who trained with me and took the time to share some of their knowledge, despite the fact that I was not one of their students. This is a quality school with quality people. It was an honor to train with them.
Dropped in for a visit on a work trip. This place was the highlight of my time in Chicago! Prof Thomas did a great job. He was welcoming and made me feel like I was one of the regulars. The instruction was awesome. He shared details and really broke down the positions. I would gladly call this gym home. You should too!! Give it a try it’s a 10/10. Clean, family friendly and full of talent.
