I have trained at this school for over 10 years. Instruction is the best I have found. This school has students who compete and do very well. If competing isn't your thing that's fine. The majority of the students do not and has a great chemistry when you walk in the door. I think this is why Goytia's Martial Arts has been on Chicago's Southside for several decades and is reveered as one of the best schools for self defense and sport fighting. You must give them a try.
I trained at Goytias a few years back. If you want affordable hands on self defense and martial arts instruction, I can't think of a better place. Instructor Joe Goytia is one of the best in the field of self defense and MMA.
I attended the Jeet Kune Do Summit this weekend. Three days of training with amazing instructors. I learned techniques that I can use in real life self defense scenarios. A wealth of information taught by amazing people. Even though I am tired AF, I definitely don’t regret the training. I am thankful I was able to attend. Worth every penny. ??
