“We had a project to replace the siding on the first and second floors of our house. We decided to go with the Hardie board fiber cement. While more expensive than other siding types this one came highly reviewed and recommended. David and his team were very great about sharing all relevant information for this product as well so we could make an informed decision. They worked with us to get it on the schedule as fast as possible and installed, even escalated a replacement to our second floor windows when we discovered they also needed to be replaced. They were professional in all respects, quick to respond to questions, and cleaned up the debris left behind to all reasonable expectations. “I had purchased replacement windows from Lake Cook Exteriors many years ago. The best money I have ever spent on the house - they look and work great. Unfortunately, one of the windows fogged up indicating a seal had failed. I contacted Lake Cook and they advised me it was covered under warranty. They asked me for the serial number of that specific window. I emailed it to them along with a photo of the cloudy window, and they ordered and installed the replacement - no charge. Great service and great product. I highly recommend Lake Cook Exteriors!“

“K&S General Contracting just finished replacing my roof, gutters, soffit and fascia, and they did an outstanding job!

I originally called them just for a roof replacement, though my home is over 50 years old, and needed gutters, soffit, fascia, windows and siding, too. Altogether that seemed monstrous and overwhelming; I didn't think I would be able to afford it, and definitely not all at once.

TJ, the owner, came to my house for an estimate, and spent a significant amount of time-assessing the entire exterior, then sitting down with me and discussing the issues and my options. He is super nice and personable. He gave me a VERY reasonable price for replacing the roof. I have had multiple other estimates done, and TJ's was extremely competitive. He also took the time to ask me about my plans for my home, and presented me with the idea of a long term plan for doing all the work, over the course of 3-4 years. He created digital renditions of my vision for my home, and how it will look when everything is complete. He gave me estimates for each project individually, and for the project as a whole, all of which were reasonable and less than i anticipated! TJ turned the monstrous and overwhelming renovation of my home into something doable and affordable.

K&S General Contracting just completed the first phase- the roof, gutters, soffit and fascia, and I am extremely happy with the outcome. The job was delayed a couple times due to weather, and they did a wonderful job accommodating my schedule. The crew showed up early, and wasted no time getting to work. They were polite and professional. The majority of my roof was rotted, and it ended up being a complete teardown. It was a big job, and they finished in one day. Of note, communication throughout the entire project was excellent and they also did a great job cleaning up. The gutters, soffit and fascia were completed within 2 days, and my house looks noticeably so much better. I now have a solid, high quality roof over my head and the ventilation problem in my attic is fixed as well.

“Worked mainly with the owner's son on getting our roof done. He was very friendly and responsive to communication. Same goes for the office staff. They were a pleasure to deal with and helpful navigating things with insurance and mortgage companies. They accommodated my specific requests for the gutters even though they had to specially make some pieces for us. Only thing negative I can say is the length of time it took to complete the work, but that was due to the break on exterior work over the winter months.“

They just finished and it looks awesome - better than before. Owner helped me pick the color, type of shingle, and they had the roofing done in 2 days!!!
