“I’ve been a client of Michelle’s for nearly six years. This is my third salon change I’ve witnessed her make, because she’s grown each transition. When I saw her nearly six years ago for the first time, I hadn’t had a consistent cut in YEARS! She got me back on track. We’ve since moved from the Ankeny area, but I still drive almost an hour and a half ever 10-12 weeks to have Michelle pamper me. Not to mention, she is insanely flexible with me because of this. Michelle is always continuing her education and extending the opportunity to her staff and surrounding stylists. For example, her curly hair certification was a game changer for me! (I still haven’t hacked it like she can, but WOWZA!) One of my favorite things is how she also wants to educate and grow others. She asks from time to time if other stylists can observe my curly cut and color sessions. She is constantly researching and implementing new techniques. The end of my cut is always my favorite for this reason! I’m always excited to see what new thing she’s found to try.

I look forward to being Michelle’s client for many years to come. I value her and her abilities sooo much!

“I went and saw Melissa after having a horrible experience with another salon. That messed up my cut, my color and fried my hair.
She made my hair a thousand times better.
It was definitely shorter than I wanted 🥴 but it was so awful that it needed something better than what it was. Plus it is hair it will grow back.
I’m definitely happy with my results. And will go back later on down the road to get it even closer to what I wanted to begin with.
