“Michell is amazing. She works out here in Ka'a'awa... about two minutes from my house, which is not only convenient and I don't have to drive into Kaneohe, but I've had the best manicures with her. Don't be fooled by most of the salons that do a gel polish. She does actual gel manicures. There is a difference. When I need a nail extension, instead of gluing an artificial nail tip then covering it with acrylic, she uses actual gel and a nail form, which is far less damaging to your nail and no toxic fumes! She doesn't need to grind down my nail bed for the gel to adhere. Also, when Michell applies the gel, she does it in a way that if you don't have curve to your nail bed, she adds the curve in to make your nails look much more natural. I have thin flat nails but after a manicure with Michell, they are curved and look real but yet are sturdier and much more attractive than my actual nails. And the best thing about gels is that they last longer than gel nail polish or acrylics! I have gone 4 weeks without having them redone and they have not lifted. I'm not saying this looks attractive, but when I get busy and don't have time to get in every two weeks, my nails still look good. She is an amazing artist, and has an extensive collection of gel colors and nail powders that will blow your mind! Whatever design, color, or theme I want, Michell can do it. I follow her Instagram and every time she posts a new idea or design, I always end up choosing that for me! In terms of pricing, she is competitive with, if not more reasonable for the quality of manicure and pedicure that you receive. Aside from her talent, the other great thing about her is that she is so friendly ingenuine, it is like hanging at your girlfriend's house, but the bonus is your nails are being done!“
